I'm very glad to hear you like it.
AZT rocks, especially on decent/fast computers.
Many players don't know the quality of the "Smooth Motion" engine (in the game menu).
Anyway, a snipers map is on the way.

beta 1.58

- extended Radar-Minimap
Now you can see the direction from where you get damage.
requirements: the "corporal" rank or above.
The players with less than 100 frags, if they buy the Radar (for 90 seconds) from the Warehouse,
they get the extension as well.

- a few other corrections (game engine & AZT map)

:P

The 2nd expansion of the Radar-Minimap: now you can see the direction of ALL the shooters.
:P
The players with over 100 frags don't have to buy the radar to get this feature.

You need to clear your browser cache and to reload the game (webpage).

Yes, it's probably the best looking map in a browser based game. :P
However, it has 2 "problems":
1) the complex geometry and the Q3 shaders require a decent graphics card
(many players with cheap computers have frame rate issues on this map).
2) it's great for "Free For All" only.
For team modes, TFC remains the best map so far:
http://www.infdat.com/hopeless2/FreeTeams.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
For now ... because the next map (codenamed KIN) is gonna be the new leader.

I hope to post a new screenshot (more detailed) in a couple of days.
What can I say now (early stage): probably the best map for snipers and/or team play.

The 5th map is still in alpha stage (a bunch of missing objects and features),
but I promised to show you some cool stuff:
http://www.infdat.com/movies/KIN_alpha.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Between others, two game engine improvements:
1) now the rockets have nonlinear double controlled trajectory (more realistic).
Bye-bye accuracy at long distances for noobs. :mrgreen:
2) perfect falling on steep slopes. :P

Hi Remus,
You’ve probably determined by now that my favorite weapon is the sniper rifle and from the pics that I have seen, the new map should make for good sniping. My preferred sniping method is the ambush technique. This is where the shooter waits for the kill by letting the target enter a predetermined kill zone (takes longer to get frag numbers up). This system works well provided the sniper can achieve the best firing position with the least amount of personal exposure. What is your opinion of getting "the best firing position with the least amount of personal exposure" with the new map? Also “least amount of personal exposure” translates into, for this camp, a winter camo uniform. Will that be a choice?

As I've said before, your hard work on the camps is appreciated and most of us are in awe about what you are able to do.

1) KIN is the best map you ever seen in browser based game.
Designed for team play and snipers.
2) The "white camouflage outfit" is gonna be available in a future update.
