Try to do your best Simon.
Kill the spiders first and the other players after that.
Those spiders create confusion and you cannot see the real players.

The TLT map has been replaced with a new one: Aztec Temple (codenamed AZT).
Gunners, snipers, bombers, all of them are welcome.
In this map you have AK-47 as default machine gun (instead of G-3).
file size: 8.4MB (300KB less compared to previous version).

A new beta 1.55 update (you need to clear your browser cache and to reload):

The Q3 Shaders have been enabled for the Aztec Temple map.
Hopeless2_AZT.jpg
If you don't like them, you can turn them off in the game starting menu.

Looking at this map, I see that scenario seems like the evening.
size similar to the mercenary camp, but a little more detailed, it offers many features to the characters that like to camouflage themselves, (or is it?).
Some are good places to hide (Feast of rats).
But still a little complicated, for example, a detail:
That wooden bridge (it is not fragile, hehehe), could get some frags just firing rpg there. This is just a first impression on the map.
I'm still watching it in more detail in question.

Noe,
You need a decent computer, that's all.
Here is a 3 years old mid-range computer: Core 2 Duo E6400, 2GB DDR2-800, GeForce 8600GT.
49 FPS in full camp (8 players)!

beta 1.57

Many corrections:
- increased damage for pistol, shotgun & sniper rifle
- less ammo for the default machine gun (G-3 or AK-47).
- M-249 has better damage & range compared to the default machine gun
- more optimizations for the AZT map.
- better & extended panels (to list properly the players with over 100,000 frags  )

I'm very glad to hear you like it.
AZT rocks, especially on decent/fast computers.
Many players don't know the quality of the "Smooth Motion" engine (in the game menu).
Anyway, a snipers map is on the way.

beta 1.58

- extended Radar-Minimap
Now you can see the direction from where you get damage.
requirements: the "corporal" rank or above.
The players with less than 100 frags, if they buy the Radar (for 90 seconds) from the Warehouse,
they get the extension as well.

- a few other corrections (game engine & AZT map)

The 2nd expansion of the Radar-Minimap: now you can see the direction of ALL the shooters.
:P
The players with over 100 frags don't have to buy the radar to get this feature.

You need to clear your browser cache and to reload the game (webpage).

Yes, it's probably the best looking map in a browser based game. :P
However, it has 2 "problems":
1) the complex geometry and the Q3 shaders require a decent graphics card
(many players with cheap computers have frame rate issues on this map).
2) it's great for "Free For All" only.
For team modes, TFC remains the best map so far:
http://www.infdat.com/hopeless2/FreeTeams.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
For now ... because the next map (codenamed KIN) is gonna be the new leader.

The 5th map is still in alpha stage (a bunch of missing objects and features),
but I promised to show you some cool stuff:
http://www.infdat.com/movies/KIN_alpha.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Between others, two game engine improvements:
1) now the rockets have nonlinear double controlled trajectory (more realistic).
Bye-bye accuracy at long distances for noobs.
2) perfect falling on steep slopes. :P
