Clear the browser cache and reload the game.
All the players with entry-level computers (slow processor and/or graphics card) get screen freezes in case of explosions.
So I had to change the explosions protocol.
Now I'm using the Ghost Protocol (from Mission Impossible).
Now even if it blows your face off, you won't get any freeze.

On contrary: great news for all the players, bad news for "immortals".
In case of screen freeze, the computer cannot process almost any incoming message.
So the "frozen player" does not get damage.

The current explosions look better and they are also processor friendly (better performances).

Changed Ranks and Bonuses policy.

More bonuses for the active players.
Better game dynamics.
At the beginning of every month, all the players start almost from ZERO.

Those "junkies" keep the game alive.
On the top of that, the current approach is better from any point of view:
1) better game dynamics
2) more balanced gameplay
3) a new challenge for veterans
4) all the ACTIVE players with a few thousand frags have a chance for better bonuses

Take a look here:

Do you think Kinho40, Zoldyck, Milan, ahmet, mucaht, ... help this game?
Do you think they deserve a bonus?

I do not know their private lives. There may be several reasons they are no longer as active as they were before.
I like to play with good players, preferably freematches matches and, occasionally, some beginners watch, to see if they are cheating in the game. I believe that some veterans do too. I simply can not stand certain changes that penalize something that conquered during the earliest years of playing this game. I think this takes a great disincentive for other veterans who spent time getting their bonus and suddenly, to no avail all the effort that succeeded in winning.
This is just a humble opinion.

Sorry Aldinho, but you're wrong here.
You are a legend with 249578 frags and nobody will change that.
But any game is alive thanks to the active players.
So all the active players need to be rewarded somehow.
On the other hand, a very experienced player does not need 200 life and +90% accuracy to kill a beginner with 100 life and no accuracy boost.
On contrary.
A REAL veteran should be pleased with the current approach:
more dynamics and more balanced gameplay.
Every month all the players start with zero boosts.
And do not forget: all the "legends" have +20% Life all the time.
In my opinion, that's more than enough.

Hmm, I have mixed feelings about this.
I can certainly understand Aldinho's concerns, but I can fully understand Remus's reasons for the changes.

Two questions.
Firstly, do the bonus players keep their bonuses. :?:
Secondly, basing the monthly bonuses on how many frag you have that month.
Well, I'm just concerned about how much time veterans will spend in beginners camps.
A kill in beginners = 1 frag + 5 points
A kill in FFA = 1 frag + 20 points (if you kill a veteran)
In my opinion basing the monthly bonuses on points & not on frags would be a better approach, but this could stop players using armor & landmines, and Remus likes players spending their points in the warehouse. And I can understand why.

but as a player I would prefer less landmines & armor, and more players in FFA.

More details about the current approach:
Every month all the players start without any Regeneration, Ammo & Accuracy boost.
Depending on their monthly activity, they start to get bonuses:
http://www.infdat.com/hopeless2/ranks.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
But if they play in the Beginner camps, all these bonuses are ignored.
On the top of that, in the Begineer camps they cannot use the Pro weapons.

To conclude: these bonuses (based on the monthly activity) are available in FFA and team matches only!

Ok, NOW you're on to something! My concerns were the same. Getting blasted by a vet who just spent 26 days in noob camps so he could come back to the normal camps and annihilate the rest of us for the remaining 5 - 6 days. I agree, let's give it a chance. THe bottom line is that it should promote more activity. This is something none can argue with.

Sorry boss, the question is not what is right or what is wrong. The question is to discuss different opinions.
I hope the real veterans active, are not penalized by sudden changes without speech.
I like to play with good players, not beginners fields, just going there to see if someone is cheating.
We are discussing improvements to the game, without discouraging those who come to play and have fun.
