The new map looks very good
Two questions Remus.
Firstly, when will this map be ready to play.
And secondly, will 3rd person players be able to crouch behind windows without being seen, but still able to shoot other players  if so, then I suggest making the bottom of the windows lower in height.
At least then we could see some of the RAT

1) I don't know
2) Yes and No. Many buildings have two floors.
So it depends on where is the rat, where is the bat and where are the brave pieces of meat.

Respawn and maybe teleport locations strategically placed away from rat holes.
ATM in NCY a rat can hold up near AW50 and cover every respawn location
This is only a problem in camps with multiple levels. The single level camps don't seem affected by this.

Just some feedback.

NCY is the most played map (and the best one in my opinion).
There will be many strategic places in WLW.
No teleporters.
The teleporters are useful in large maps only, but they mess up the gameplay.
And talking about "rats & bats" ... in fact they are the most intelligent players.
This kind of soldiers won most of the battles in the past 2000 years.
The brave "face to face warriors" have always been pieces of meat.
They won a few battles only thanks to their huge number.

v2.61

The 16th map has been included: Wild West
The gameplay looks very promising (probably the best one so far).
All the players are welcome: rats, bats and face to face warriors.
WLW.jpg
Note 1: a HD version of this map (with much more details) will be available later this summer.

Note 2: complex map!
If you want the best performances in 3rd person, you need a good computer.

2) Core 2 Duo E6400, 4GB RAM, Nvidia GTS 450

A complex map requires a good processor.
That 10 FPS indicates a slow processor.
You need to disable HD weapons & characters and to use 1st person.
Also, be sure you don't use any Special FX.

Here are a few of the medium FPS values in the WLW map today:

hawk (Intel HD Graphics 3000) : 42
stills14 (Intel HD Graphics 3000) : 50 (!)
metallica77 (ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400) : 41
rookie77 (GeForce 9500 GT) : 45
rmmatador (GeForce 8400 GS) : 49
slapshot (ATI Radeon HD 4200) : 41
Ace---007 (Intel HD Graphics) : 30
rthompson (GeForce GTX 550 Ti) :50 (!)
freekarol (AMD Radeon HD 6520G) : 18

And here is a Core 2 Duo E6400 (a 7 years old processor) with Nvidia GTS 450
HD weapons & characters ON, Bloom ON!

46 FPS in the "worst" map spot !

I will have to wait until weekend to play this map, rrrr.
For the last 2 or 3 weekends my fps have been very erratic. I got to play on a weekday a few weeks ago, and my fps were good.
So you will have to wait for my indepth analogy on the new map for just a few more days

Anything above 40 FPS means smooth movement, good aiming and good gameplay.
Anyway ... clear the browser cache for the 2nd time today.

A dedicated (external) GPU is the best solution.
However, statistically speaking, about 50% of the Hopeless 2 players with laptops,
have Intel HD Graphics 3000.
That means the 2nd generation Intel Core i5 / i7 processor with IGP ( integrated graphics processor).
Most of them have over 40 FPS in any map.
These days you can buy a laptop with Intel HD Graphics 4000 (the 3rd generation Intel Core i5/i7).
Obviously, with better performances compared to the previous version.

But keep in mind: only the best laptops can compete with the mid-range desktops.
So a (not very expensive) desktop is always better than the most expensive laptop.
I have a laptop (with Core i7 processor), but I don't play games on it.

hehe, you need to look very carefully to find the difference as all have same haircut, nearly same eye shape except difference in eye color (I like the green one out of these) so green one is easily identified as diff while others have same nose, change in lipstick or its application and eye colors.

And thank you so much for appreciating me for my smartness, i am much obliged :P hehe

It's the SAME character with 4 DIFFERENT outfits.
And you don't have to be a guru to see the differences.

But I agree with Steve: I  them all.
