Fly Wheel
Remus, I am amazed that you can keep up with all of the requests.
I am not sure if this has been asked in the past but would it be possible in a future version to have the weapon selection controlled by the mouse fly wheel. The left hand can get very busy with movement especially when you are trying to evade an attack. If you have the wrong weapon selection when an attack starts (if you are against a decent player) it is very hard to evade and reselect before you die.
Having the fly wheel as the weapon selection tool would leave all weapons (aim, shoot & select) on the right and all movement on the left.
If it has already been discussed then I am sorry for retreading ground.
Regards,
My_Bullet

By default, shockwave doesn't have access to the mouse wheel.
But there're some xtras (shockwave additional modules) able to do that.
I will study the subject.
But do you really like this kind of weapons selector?
I always thought it's something annoying and I never used it.
Try to imagine the required time to change from weapon 3 to weapon 8 using the mouse wheel.
It's much more convenient (and way faster) to put your favorite weapons on keys 1...4

Re: Fly Wheel
The way the game is set up and who plays it more often than not, it's actually a good factor I think to have to blindly--by memory, obviously--choose weapons when fighting.
Some of the dumbest connections are also the dumbest players. No offense. But it's true. They've never had to "learn" anything. So when they pull out the sniper instead of the rpg, or the weaker Ak instead of the shotgun, this is good for me. I don't know about anyone else.
My fear is that making the game easier or more convenient to play will simply play into the hands of players who already have it easier than others due to the fact that they can stand perfectly still and take 3x the damage anyone else can.
Admittedly, though, I'm not a gamer and have no clue about this flywheel. I always thought it was a lawnmower part.

Re: Fly Wheel
OMG - Please remember that one of our supreme players is a female. I hate to be the voice of reason but if we are going to have sexy mythological women then you had better put a strapping, muscle bound Conan in as well.
As for fly wheels - I guess the issues that I am trying to address are: 1) the weapon switch lock up (imaginary or real) that occurs while shooting (the 1 second pause after you shoot in an active fire fight it takes to switch to a new weapon); and 2) the difficulty in evading a player under active fire while trying to select a weapon. I have been playing for more than 2 years (like many of you) and I still get all jammed up. Maybe its just my old battle weary fingers or an early onslaught of carpal tunnel.
You are probably right that it would be harder to control then the numbered weapon selection.
thank you for the responses and pictures.

Here is an optimized 3D model for Aldinho.
She is from Brazil and her name is Kiremila. Do you want her Aldinho?
