I was playing in a team match yesterday and I ran into a little bit of trouble.

My teammate set a mine while I was relatively close to him. And I blew myself up on it because I couldn't see the blue dot.

His blue player indicator dot was covering up the mine indicator dot, and BOOOOOOM!

So, this isn't a serious issue. It doesn't happen often. But do you think the mine indicator and player indicator can be separate colors (I don't mean just 1/2 a different shade of blue lol)?

When the player and mine are far apart in camp, it's not a problem at all. But when they're really close, like as soon as they set it, you can't see it unless you actually look down and see the mine.

The main problem is that I already use 6 colors for those dots:
green, yellow, red, blue, magenta, cyan.
To find the 7th (and different) one is a tough job.
The dark colors cannot be used anyway.

Well maybe then it is a problem with my screen colors, because both the blues look exactly the same with mines/teammates.

The only difference is the mines blink, but you can't tell it's blinking when they're close together.

Maybe player dots in real teams can be like in free teams - the color of the uniform?

Or maybe the player dot can be BIGGER and the mine dot can be smaller - so they look more distinct.

But I don't know there! Then they would really cancel each other out when close.

Maybe it's just one of those things.

But there is a significant difference between "light blue" and "cyan":

When I wrote these last year, the idea was to come in under a certain word count so that they could actually be displayed.

Now, I know my grammar is sometimes lacking because of the informal structure, and I know I'm certainly not the king of all things prose, but I have two degrees in literature and communication.

What I want to say: If I want to listen music or to speak with my teammate via gtalk or some other messenger while I am playing game I need to set my volume button high but in that case gun shots are so loud, I can stay without a hearing
So I would like that my PC volume be set at high level and game volume at some low or middle, depends of strong...

You just should find the best way to approach your flag
