After switching from a Netgear CG814WG wireless modem to a Motorola SBG6580 wireless modem, when I to Hopeless 2 and login all is normal until I get to the screen where a camp is to be chosen. Clicking on any of the camp buttons causes the following screen to appear.
[]
The camp chosen may or may not appear, but when a camp does appear the “Enter” screen is by-passed and the camp looks to be in training mode. I can move, shoot, acquire additional ammo, and weapons. Just cannot enter a camp with other players.
Any ideas about how to correct this glitch?

Sorry, Idk the answer. I think this is a question only Remus can answer.

You cannot connect to 4 different servers.Dorsai wrote:Clicking on any of the camp buttons causes the following screen to appear.
For that reason you're forced to play in "training" mode (offline).
Perform this simple test: http://www.infdat.com/utils/PingTest.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If you cannot connect to those servers it means you have a modem/router/firewall problem.
The first thing to try is to disable the firewall (probably buggy).

Thanks, Lenny.
Remus: Using the ping test, could not connect to either site.
Any tips on debugging firewall?

I don't know anything about your ISP, router and installed software.Dorsai wrote:Remus: Using the ping test, could not connect to either site.

For adding port exceptions to Windows Firewall:
http://support.lexisnexis.com/us_en_us/ ... leID=10101" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Add 1626 and 1627 and see if that helps.
If not, you need to contact your ISP and ask for support.

Re: Having a Problem Entering the Camps
I've just checked out.
The internet is full of issues related to Motorola SBG6580.
You need to study the manual.
Search for "port forwarding" and be sure its firewall does not block the 1626 and 1627 ports.
Add them to exceptions.
