Processor Test

How many seconds do you need to generate 1000 bushes?
Perform the test 3 times.
Less than 6 seconds = top processor
Less than 12 seconds = good processor
More than 20 seconds = slow processor
Significant diferences between results = your computer (OS) is bloated with crap.

To see if your graphics card fits to your monster (that's a Core i7 Extreme  ),
perform the following test:
- in the game starting menu select "Training" (offline)
- map WLW
- 3rd person
- female 5
- Bloom enabled
- HD weapons & characters enabled.

See if you get 49-50/50 FPS in any spot of the map (also test the corners).

8.8.7. i7
But in the game my fps are good for 10 minutes. Then they start to drop & I get lag
I think the reason is, my laptop is getting very warm, but it never got warm before.
Maybe I need a Laptop cooling mat, IDK

I can do the graphics test with 50/50 and the processor test with 8.8.7 (even in full screen)

Any advice Remus :?:

1) use CoreTemp and study the temperatures (idle, full load, after 10 minutes of playing, etc)
http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

2) open the laptop case and clean the dust (fans and coolers).

- double check the task manager. Maybe there is an unwanted process (a processing power sucker).
- check out the browser addons. You should disable them all anyway ... that's bloatware!
- change the browser and retest.

Computer bloated with crap = lower FPS, glitches and other troubles during the gameplay.

Come to think of it, I have several games that require Steam (I hate @#$&% Steam!) I always disable it before I play, but may not have before I ran the tests. But I'll check all of this.

Steam is an "official" spyware and also a network sucker.

A web browser that is addons free is a stupid browser that can do almost nothing. How can I save websites to .mht, viewing website via https or use my favorite search engines without addons?

I'm not talking about verified and useful browser addons.
The market is full of browser addons.
Many of them are pieces of crap made by obscure authors.
All of these "goodies" come with bloatware and spyware.
Many people install them all, just to be "up to date" with everything and to have a "full featured browser".
I hope Karol is not one of them ...

I got it. Lots of ppl install many addons and toolbars no matter if they really need them and how secure they are. A gold rule is: have as less toolbars and addons as you can. The more you will have the slower your web browser will be.

I really dont have such web browser, haha:

LMAO. So you need 2 screens. 1 for your toolbars, and 1 for your web page.

Karol, please confirm this is NOT your PC.
Otherwise you will be thrown OFF the team

Got myself a tin of compressed air (cost me £10  )
Removed the back off my laptop, cleaned the fans, with the compressed air. And hey presto, my fps are back to normal. No more HOT laptop. Remus :biggthumbsup

Now I can play full screen in 3rd person with all HD modes ON. With 50/50 fps.
Although when the camp gets full my fps drop to between 30 & 40. (WLW being the worst for fps and lag)

P.s. For years now I have heard many players claim they get 50/50 fps all the time.
I have never played this game and got 50/50 fps all the time.
At the best of times my fps will sometimes drop to 45/50.
And I have a good/clean PC. And my connection isn't bad either.

I must be some sort of phenomenon

P.s.s. The processor test now gives me a score of 9 on the 1st attempt, and a score of 7 for every time I test after that.
