Hopeless 2 (v2.66)

Post by Remus »

The initial Stryke map (from 2008) has been included.
Of course, after a bunch of fixes ...
Both browser and standalone versions have been updated.
Using the Retro mod you'll get the Stryke map, all the characters and weapons of the first game release:

There is no one in the game. I wish there were a few people playing.

Instead of complaining and doing nothing, you should bring players and play.
I'm still paying the hosting bills (for you).

I was surprised that the game still works. After all, servers aren't free... But it's hard to find new players, and the older ones don't play anymore. Maybe if the game were available through a browser again. But who knows...

It is.
This is the PaleMoon 32bit browser with the Shockwave Plugin 32bit on Windows 11 64bit:

Yeah, you are right. It works with the web browser. I assume that it should also work with Firefox ESR. but I didn't try.

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well. It's a pleasure to greet those who are still playing this great game that marked my childhood. I'm 27 now and I've become nostalgic seeing the scores and that I'm still in one of the top positions. Remus, how are you? :worship:

Yeah, we should try to find a day and an hour for a meeting between "veterans".
But it won't be an easy task because there are 3 different continents involved (America / Europe / Asia).

In fact, the time zone can be an obstacle, but if everyone gives in a little, I believe we can do it, I'm in, so veterans, let's fight????

I try to play with Deamuel but it's hard to find a time when we both have time for it. The three of us could agree on something, and it will surely work out.

We can use online poll or a tool like Doodle, and we’ll immediately know which time works best for most veterans.

I'm up for it, I'm really looking forward to playing, let's set a common time and play together, and let's try to contact some other veterans who want to join us and who knows, maybe get some recruits and show them the real game.

It could be this coming weekend at 9am (Brazilian time), ????
But we can adjust accordingly so that it is good for everyone.
I am waiting for the battles to start again. :whatis:

Not good enough.
Brazil is a very large country and it can be GMT-2 ... GMT-5.
Use your local time zone and convert it to GMT.
Example: Rio de Janeiro = GMT-3
9:00 Rio de Janeiro = 12:00 London = 13:00 Prague

Espírito Santo- Brazil Saturday 09:00
Prague (+4h) Saturday 13:00
London (+3h) Saturday 12:00
Lisbon (+3h) Saturday 12:00
Turkey (+6h) Saturday 15:00

Verdade, faltou esse complemento. :worship:

The time is OK with me...

Maybe this site could help with different time zones: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ ... ame&sort=1

It automatically converted Brazilian time to mine.
