Problem with the mines:

If you walk under them, you're also killed!!!

I set one in EGT as you go up those steps and thru that little hallway to get to the bomb. To stay away from it, I walked underneath the complex, near where the baby sniper is located.

I still killed myself with my own mine!

I don't see any problem.

p.s.2
Now even the CTF & Domination gameplay is changed (of course, if you want to use landmines).

I've tried many things to get my sound to work, but it won't. Is there anyone who can give me advice on how to restore the sound to my game play?

The game has nothing to do with your computer and OS.
The game runs in your browser, that's all.
Obviously this is a shockwave plugin bug on Macs.
And all my computers are Windows based ...
How can I help you?

I watched for about 10 minutes Ovidiu + tazmanya2006 vs Chewbacca + Amidala.
They used landmines a lot.
It was a very funny match.

Two v2.16 updates:

1) you can see the landmines of your team mates in any team mode.
2) the blasting range has been slightly decreased.
:P

You need to clear the browser cache (history) and to reload the game (webpage).

Hmm. landmine.
Is there anyway to sweep the landmines?
When i played CTF. i knew my they would put landmines on my base .
But what could i do? i waited and let simplysheikh go first. yeap he died.
Then i took my flag home .and tried to pick up the other one to score.
Put landmines beside flag? NOT GOOD.

Jubbly doesn't have a bad idea, but make sure it's not Chip and Dales

I know manga likes to sing YMCA while playing, but the rest of us don't need to be tortured!

I think one of these new maps should be Elite only.

People need to strive for excellence here. If you can't get there - no biggie. But there should be some effort to assimilate into the environment rather than just screwing it up as-is.

elite timber saying hello only connection to the camp, but this I think it will be unfair to the good you know I am one of the oldest players in this game for years, never stopped playing and now I can not enter this game as I do not think I'm wrong just some of them are former players, I think everyone should enter the camps bird is unable to remusla consider my message to the previous game, stick together, especially former players, many players no longer consider a remedy that I think

Fair point.

But wtf?

Should 100% of this entire game be open to players if they have terrible Internet connection?

There needs to be some incentive to encourage people to have better Internet connections!

If Remus just keeps allowing everyone to play in every aspect of the game no matter what, then people are going to continue to take advantage of it!

Logic comes before fairness, because it's impartial and simple.

In some cases, all people have to do is shut off MSN and other pages to have better connection.

But what's keeping them from doing it? It's because they don't have to do it! They can log on with variable ping jumping from 150 to 900ms every 10 seconds, and the rest of us just have to put up with it.

Two new maps coming. One should be Elite ONLY!

Giving the elite players something to combat these mines, May also have the desired affect.
Even if it's not just for elite players, There should be something to combat the mines.

Maybe radar can be updated to detect mines? That way there wouldn't have to be any special unitasker mine detector. Or maybe it would be better with a mine detector. I don't reallly know!

Or maybe the radar already detects mines. I haven't bought any in a year, so I have no clue.

But a way to find the mines would be pretty cool. I agree with the Lennster

I think Radar would be the easiest to implement, But there are many things that could work.
Maybe with pro pack, Every time you re spawn or kill a chicken, You get 10 seconds of radar, To use when you see fit.
Leaving the radar in the warehouse, Just makes players place the mine next to the warehouse
Mines being left next to the warehouse, Over guns and ammunition or on re spawn area, Is happening allot.
With no defense.

Yeah, that's pretty stupid. The mine in front of the warehouse is totally unoriginal and something that just defeats the purpose, in my opinion.

But...

It does have its advantages.

You can kill someone going for some armor/radar, and definitely keep people away from the mines.

In terms of brain power, a mine placed where you got it from is about a 0.1, well below Forrest Gump. But it's a surefire way to get a kill. And I guess that's all a lot of people want.

Personally, I want to put my mines where people think they're the safest -- then BOOM, it's a surprise!

But wtf do I know? 100-kill noobs beat me 20-3 these days.
