I started to hate landmine, cause many of players get CHEAP kills, I hate when somebody kills me when I face with him and in that moment he plant landmine cause they don't know other way to kill me. :mad:
I would like if you can change something here, it isn't fair, opposite players is next to me and I get killed by his landmine and he doesn't? It's the same as RPG, I am not immune at my own fire. Or you make that we could be immune on RPG fire.
If noobs can kill me by planting landmine when they passed next to me than why I cannot kill them with RPG and to be immune on my own RPG fire.

You miss the most important part: the multiuser environment.
Everything is delayed with (your ping + his ping).
So if you are both moving, he seems to be next to you, but he is not.

But it's true: the Landmines have been designed for CHEAP kills.
Secondly, they have been designed for strategical kills.
And thirdly, they are a great weapon for those with good connection against those with bad connection.

I think I didn't miss that. Opposite player in that situation isn't dead only cause he has 5 sec. before landmine explode. I could plant landmine and I could jump on it till 5 sec. after that BOOM. I tested it. I came to one deadhead, I was standing there, plant landmine next to him and BOOM, he is dead and I am alive. :wink:

If I'm walking in front of Milan and place a mine, he is killed instantly as soon as I put it down.

Because of this, players are getting these land mines only to be cheap kills. They walk by, press L, and BOOM - the opponent is dead and the person setting the mine doesn't take ANY damage at all.

It doesn't wait for the 5 seconds; it happens instantly. SO I do think this is a bug! :biggthumbsup:

It should be 5 seconds to explode, regardless of who steps on (near) it!

Ok, imagine this situation:
You and me are in camp. You are standing at one place, you are not moving, I came to you with landmine, I stand next to you, like to kiss you :lol: I am not moving at all, than I plant landmine and in moment when I planted it BOOM, you are dead I am alive, comprendes amigo? :lol:

I agree, This happen too me once, We start to shoot at each other, He walk toward me, Drop mine, I Die he walked away.
These mines need some tweaks i think :cheers:

Do you get 50/50 FPS in a Kineterra full camp?
Because if you don't, you won't be able to play at that level of detail.
From my point of of view, you can get any level of detail you want.
But if less than 10% of the players are able to play, I'm wasting time (and game resources).

I would personally love to see a really, really, really detailed map come out, with moving parts.

But that's just because I'd like to see it. I don't expect it nor am I asking for it. But it would be very cool! :mrgreen:

Possible in the future maybe when H2 jumps to that new platform (or w/e it was)?

BTW...I still need to test my FPS on that thing :lol:

Hmm...i never see kineterra full since the beginning of the game...so i dont know what fps should i have with 8/8 players....but i suppose youre right...you know better....so...lets hope to a brighter future for games platforms...so moving elements can be introduced in this game :agree:

Another v2.17 update:

1) increased radius of the landmine denied area (the distance to warehouse).
You also got a very useful tracer: in the denied area the landmine icon is faded out.
2) the landmine timer is set to 3 seconds now.

Note: you need to clear the browser cache (history) and to reload the game (webpage).

You can vote a player with bad language to be muted (he cannot use the in-game chat anymore).
Two different votes are needed. The players on the "elite" list have double power.

You can disable/enable the chat display.
The chat remains full functional, but you are not bothered with the messages anymore.

Click on the Commands button in the Multiplayer Modes selector page for a complete list.

Bug fix: in all the team modes, you start a new match with full health.
