Install this old version of shockwave player and try, and let me know if you still have performance issues

http://www.oldapps.com/shockwave.php?old_shockwave=22" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Don't update to latest 11.6.1.629
If you get update dialog, click No, it should play in old version itself.
If you still have problems, use even older version and try again. When you don't face the issue any more with older versions tell me back again. I will talk to shockwave developers and get this fixed hopefully if its a bug.

Thank you!

Very cool, something never done in an already very complex SW project.
However, it crashes the browsers on Macs (and OpenGL on Windows).

3) You may bet on that.

Did you see something like that in SW3D?

1. Is this actually a render to texture issue ? the way the health pack is rendered. btw I have played Q3 a lot, so i know how it should look acutally. Its sort of transparent. Without the script we don't know how you achieving this.

2. Certianly crash is a very bad issue, if we get a file that crashes, you be can sure of that it will be fixed, gurantee. Mean whlie I will play the game and try the mirror command.

3. Yes this is really cool, both the effect and the babe ;)

It's a DirectX renderer bug introduced in Director SW v11 (a long time ago).
Obviously, renderToTexture is affected (wrong resulted image).
The only workaround for this DirectX bug is:
light("hello_sunshine").spotDecay = TRUE
But it comes with a performances drop and I don't like that.
You don't need to enable the spotDecay in OpenGL to get the right result.

Clear the browser cache and reload the game.
Now in the starting menu you have 3 options for MouseLook:
1) baMoveCursor (the old external SW module, hosted on http://necromanthus.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and developed by Gary Smith)
2) Integrated (in the latest SW plugin)
3) OFF

Please help Adobe to investigate the mouse related issues.
Select the Integrated MouseLook and see how it works on your computer.
Please provide the following infos:
- OS
- browser
- how it works (same as baMoveCursor, worse, or it doesn't work at all)

Use this topic: http://www.infdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3184" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

1) If I understood well, In the latest SW plugin we have Integrated and not baMoveCursor? If it so, why then when I installed latest SW and when I run H2 it asked me to install baMoveCursor?

2) What should I see with these two? Better aim or better game play?

1) it was available but I didn't use it (you had no option to use it).
And that's because it didn't work properly on many configs.
2) if you get the same good results (precision, fast but smooth movement) with both
baMoveCursor and Integrated, it's perfect.

I've downgraded the loader to 11.5
Uninstall the shockwave plugin and use that 11.5.9.620 from http://forum.necromanthus.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
See if you get the same FPS drop.

That's bad then, its not flash related issue. However it could some 3d issue with shockwave or the setup of your machine and things around.

Which memory leak you want fixed ? The flash one ? give me a screenshot of high memory usage, that will be very helpful.

You need over 500 frags to use commands.
If you need an "Adobe" account for tests, just send me an email.
After that, it's very easy:
dress yourself like a girl, select the KIN map, find Hula Cow and type this:
> mirror on
You'll get this view: http://www.infdat.com/forum/download/fi ... &mode=view" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Edited:
I found your username: Shockwave
Use the flare account and log in.
Now you can use commands.
You can even double the mirror resolution with:
> mirror on x2

Clear the browser cache and reload the game.
A new feature is available in the starting menu: Alpha Sorting.
Enable it and:
- check out the trees, water & guard towers in the SMC map
- check out the trees in the KIN map
...
Even the flowers in the NCY map look better.

my fps is always below 22, my character's movements are very slow, I can not aim at the target in the normal way. so I will wait for things to improve maybe someday I can get it. To all friends, good luck! :baby:

Most of the players did not get any FPS drop in the latest SW plugin.
So it seems your OS was killed by "something" at one point.
Did you try what Milan and Praveen suggested?

Aldinho,

Something goes VERY wrong with your computer.
First of all check out the processor temperature:
http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Secondly, turn off the computer, open the case and clean the dust.
Be sure the processor fan & cooler and the case fan are very clean.
Also double check if all the processor cores are full operational.
If your OS is not messed up, maybe your processor is throttled.

These Deadly Strikes are absolutely crucial for players without bad internet.

Now, when it comes to people with bad connection using them, that's an entirely different topic.

But we can't discriminate on that level.

The best solution: You need to decide before a match whether or not you will use the Deadly Strike feature, just like you decide beforehand whether or not to use the landmines.

If someone wants to use Deadly Strikes and you don't, then don't play.

Speaking for myself only, and other players with good Internet, these Deadly Strikes even the playing field.

But when it comes to edjer sitting in camp for 30 minutes and building up his DS count, well, you have to be smart enough to start the game in a new fresh map, or you have to agree to not use them.

Remus isn't your daddy. Get a handle on it.

All of them. I got tired of players with horrible connections who have armor, radar and landmines. Like I already don't have too much troubles to kill them with their shitty connection but I have to fight with all of these items.

I don't know the release order, but a good map needs around two months of development.
Meanwhile I am experimenting a new kind of gameplay: Boosted!
A Free For All with double damage, double accuracy, but 50% ammo.
It should provide a better gameplay at least for these reasons:
- it's an advantage for the smart players (who finds the target first has better chances).
- it's an advantage for the good shooters (better accuracy).
- it's a disadvantage for the bad connections (they die faster).
- less ammo means more interesting gameplay and more weapons involved.
So clear the browser cache and give it a try.
If most of the players will find this gameplay better, we can make it default in team modes.
I think this Boosted should be more advertised... a few people know about this... I asked about it to a lot of people and nobody knew. That's why nobody plays, nobody is there, always empty... I already tested and I liked, but I would like to test this kind of gameplay more.
Some more advertising of this camp mode would be great.
I'm looking forward the Air Strike!

For new camp.... how about an Atomic Bomb ? This could frag all camp at once or it would frag half of the players in the camp... it should have dificult access, well hidden place, no access for noobs, access only for marshal and above... ... it can be available just after 15 minutes after the last one who took... it should have special effect and a loud noise.

I also would like to have a command to drop a weapon that I don't want to have... sometimes we get a weapon that we don't want when we frag a player and we continue firing other and the weapon comes to our hands beacause we are too close and we can't avoid it when we are on heavy fire... would be very good to press a letter to drop it... why to drop? cause sometimes I press the wrong number and comes the weapon that I dont want.

Clear the browser cache and reload the game.

1) a new command:

No more pizza, medkit, armor and radar for the entire existence of that camp.
2) a new correction:
After respawing, the current weapon defaults to the previous used weapon.

If so, I think it's a brilliant idea

The new command:( > items off ) In my Opinion? this command gives advantage to players who are already like Immortals or those who have fast connections and very good PCs...and they know it! -as for others it is a disadvantage ...when playing game! at the least give one item back either Armor or med kit ! or you guys will find many leaving Hopeless 2 or looking for new room to play game in.

Jack,
I have never been a fan of land mines and armour, but it sounds like you are a fan.
Can you think of a better why to keep us both happy?

As for player's leaving the game, I think alot more would leave the game, if all camps were full immortals with land mines and armour.
Anyway, there is a much bigger question, is it armour or armor IDK :?

Deadlyspawn,
I think there're a few > on commands, that have not been allowed in the game (because of cheaters  ) maybe this is one of them.

First of all, it's impossible to please all the people on this planet.
Secondly, it's up the camp owner to remove the items (or to kick out players with "elite").
Thirdly, certain features (day/night, 1st/3rd person, items) don't allow ON/OFF.
That's to prevent players with bad attitude to mess up the camps.

Armour or armor (see spelling differences) is protective covering used to prevent damage from being inflicted to an object, individual or a vehicle through use of direct contact weapons or projectiles, usually during combat so whatever way you want to spell it! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armour" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I myself don't care for land-mines.

Armor is American English
Armour English English

Armadura in brazilian portuguese!
But we always say bullet proof vest and most of the time just vest or "colete" (brazilian portuguese). Portuguese comes from Portugal that colonized Brazil around 1500 "Common Era" and portuguese language comes from "Latin" as such as Romanian, French, Italian and Spanish. But who cares?

Two more game engine updates:

1) a new command: > auto pickup
You can turn OFF/ON the weapons & ammo automatic pickup.
If it's turned OFF, use the Shift key to pick them up.

2) You cannot select a weapon without ammo.

If so, I think it's a brilliant idea

No more pizza, medkit, armor and radar for the entire existence of that camp.
2) a new correction:
After respawing, the current weapon defaults to the previous used weapon.

I REALLY LIKE this latter correction! Now when I spawn I can jsut step back and shoot! :sniper:

After 2.5 years you lost the MODS from the game interface.
In fact I always wanted to remove that big piece of interface.
