Why?
This demo mode (with 3 weapons) is more than enough for them.
They have to register if they want more. It's free.
75% of the current online players are unregistered.
This is not the way to go on ... :|

beta 1.86

Capture The Flag
In this version, CTF is enabled for KIN, AZT and SMC.
Only the players with registered team can access this mode.
The captured flags limit is set to 20 (fixed value).
The 1st listed team gets the green flag, the 2nd one gets the yellow flag.
The outfit colors are ignored.
In normal conditions, this multiplayer mode needs 6 (3+3) or more players.
But because we have so many teams with "active" players, the current trigger is set to 4 (2+2).

The gameplay is awesome (especially in case of 6 or 8 players).
It requires strategy, the dumbs are not welcome.

Remus has done it again! I love being on a team and not being dumb!!! Didn't any one check out the player: vmartinez? he had 110 frags but was in the free for all camp? :biggthumbsup:

Another 1.86 update (CTF related):
now you can see your home color and if you carry a flag or not.
Example: your home is the green one and you carry the yellow flag.

beta 1.87

Many corrections:

1) Radar-Compas-Minimap
- the warehouse is listed with magenta.
- in "Free For All" the enemies are listed with red (if you buy the Radar).
- in "Free Teams" your team mates are listed with green or yellow (function of your outfit color).
- in "Deathmatch" and "Capture The Flag" your team mates are listed with blue.
- in "Capture The Flag" you can see the location of your flag if is dropped.

2) suicide penalties
- in "Free For All" you lose a frag
- in "Free Teams" and "Deathmatch" you lose a frag, all the rockets and the opposite team is credited with 1 frag.
- in "Capture The Flag" you lose a frag, all the rockets and all the sniper bullets.
Note: starting with this version, if you join a "Free Teams" camp, you don't get any rocket or sniper ammo.

3) Modified or new commands
> break time (3-10 minutes)
> elite camp
> lock camp
> unlock camp
> limit 100 (Free Teams and Deathmatch, by default is 50)
> limit 20 (CTF only, by default is 10)
> username out (triple power for players with over 10,000 frags and registered team).

and one of them has bad connection.

Hi Remus,
This problem still exists. LaraC and me played Gunul and Leolenny.
Leo had the Yellow flag but got killed, I tried to pick it up but couldn't.
Leo respawned and still had the flag. He said he saw me with it. Leo left and came back in, the flag disappeared to all except him.
When we left and returned we could see it but not get it. Very confusing :?
Anyway, there are still problems :biggthumbsup:

That problem does not exist anymore, but another one has been introduced.

No.
Most of the time your connection is very good.
But you had connection issues (like everybody else from time to time).
In CTF they generate unexpected behaviours.
You lost the flag!

There're two kind of connection issues:
1) lost data packets
2) corrupted data packets (rare situation, but possible).
If he was the flag carrier and he sent a data packet with wrong content,
there is a chance to "lose the flag" (flag outside of the map).

The flags are shared objects and for this reason the players with bad connection are not welcome in CTF.
However, because we have many good players with 160-240ms ping,
I tried to rebalance the CTF protocol for them.
Now it should cover delays up to 0.5 sec (240ms+240ms).
I hope I didn't mess up anything.

Obviously, people with buggy browsers must stay away from CTF.
You need to clear the browser cache (history) and to reload the game (webpage).

A minor CTF issue has been fixed.
Now if the flag carrier dies, the distance between the flag and the ground is always the same.

This is something I was going to ask for with the weapons, but I just figured it wasn't all that important.

Like, I'll kill some tower lurker but can't get the weapon in time...

I figured if everything just dropped down to the ground, it would be better.

But it will definitely come in handy for the flags.

1) Hi Remus I put a music in the game's menu, although it'd be good ...
2) Remus recently, when I get into the game when selecting our characters, we choose the character's dying, all the properties was shown to behave as if they always thought I'd better ...
