:agree:
When 1 player opens many accounts this = player trying to deceive the community
When 1 player open 1 account and family play = active family with 1 computer and 1 internet connection. Or 2 computers and 1 internet connection This is not deception.

I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

muting him is probably best. Obviously he objects to your language. Unfortunately, he's a player from the apocalipsecity.net server. Not one of our players (of infdat.com). Just make sure he understands why you are muting him. The proper English term is "cursing is not allowed".

Just chosen players can mute someone without other 2 votes. The reason is simple. Players could mute each other so nobody could chat. :P

Did you try to ignore that player? This usually help.

Not all good, honest, reliable, forum contributing, hopeless 2 players have the power to kick a player with 1 vote (>N- out)
More TripleX players are needed, if we want to stamp out team play in free for all & other BS game play.

It's time to hand out TripleX status to some more players with the aforementioned attributes.

cesarL

hawk
hoakin1986
lauraboom
onurkral
rookie77
shasha

There are many more that would be strongly considered. If you desire this power, and feel that you can use it with great responsibility, please request here. Please be prepared to offer an explanation as to why you would want this.

I think triple x should get trustful players who are active. Players who play for example just once a month can't make camps clean=without players with bad attitude.

You can't kick immortal players out of a camp. Because not all players can have good pc and internet connection and you could also stay in a camp alone. Just look how many, not normally dying players, you can see in TMK. :P

There are some choices that are just obvious. The players on the above list all are mature, trusted, and respected individuals.

As I said before, there are many more players who are deserving of this. We'll see how things go so far, and will consider all requests or suggestions of other candidates. The goal is to keep this game clean and clear of irresponsible or abusive players. The ultimate goal, is to convince these players of changing their habits and joining the rest of us by also becoming respected members of the community.

Voting for all the folks on this list was a no-brainer. They had proved that they were responsible, caring and mature individuals long before being considered for Triple X. It was just that we felt too many holders of the power could be a bad thing. We were wrong. Turns out, we needed more to take care of some of the idiots who are intent on ruining the game for others.

So we want to thank you all for being the kind of good people that you've always been!

I've noted the same. This in my belief is a new player getting frustrated because he gets hammered from more experienced players.
However, if you offer him tips on becoming a better player, he calms down and seems to enjoy it.

With that said, I've been doing some comparisons of other FPS games and many do allow swearing and abusive language (I know because I was one of those inexperienced players getting hammered by the pros  )

Yet others do not allow it. It seems to vary widely from game to game. So it's important to realize that many players who are not forum member, simply don't know the rules. Additionally, we never specifically made any rules about swearing. As Remus has often said, some swearing and an occasional " :censored: you" is not only expected, but can often be taken as a compliment!

I think there is no problem with using bad words(vulgar, racist etc.) because we can ignore them. The problem is when chatting is just about such words and a game is often interrupted because of arguments .

Update: Freekarol and I spent some time in camp with rexf today. At first, siminaka was hitting him pretty hard and he began cursing him. I told him to "don't get angry, some players from Turkey have a worse connection and it can give them what seems to be an advantage. The secret is to play smarter". He left camp a few times, only to join later and begin joking with us. I explained how the DS worked. He'd not used it before. By the time I left, he seemed quite happy and was thanking us for compliments. It's all attitude.

Moral of this story: Good attitude is often infectious; Bad attitude is often contagious.
