Hm.. I guess one thing that I think would be nice, is if there could be a way to know if a camp is locked before entering it. Like a small lock next to ex.Camp-1 to indicate it is locked. It's a little thing but in my opinion would make all the difference.

Only the camp owner (the 1st listed player) gives a free slot and can lock the camp.
So you need to communicate with the camp owner.
To do that you need to join the camp.
