Hopeless 2 (beta 1.50 - 1.58)

beta 1.50

- the 3rd set of characters (male & female) has been included.
Only the players with >1000 frags can use these characters.
- many improvements and corrections (outfits, motions, commands).
- new sounds and more fun.
Everything packed in a single 8.7MB file.

Important note: v1.50 is NOT backward compatible!

I agree with cins topz and so many players ...Remus the new characters are so good actually woman ... but sounds are too bad like a witch ,frog crying cat etc.. their sounds are so disturble,trouble while playing

.....the other things are very good ...please change the sounds..The former sounds were so attractive and desirable

Remus,
We (I and lot of other players) noticed this problem only with the new female character... I do not have messed up OS or buggy browser but some people saw me sideways and I also saw some people, who looked normal before version 1.50, sideways...

Well, I found a problem related to "lady no.3": she had a pelvis issue.
Probably because she is so sexy.

Double interpolation for the characters movement.
Now you'll see the difference!
Especially if you have to deal with bad connection players.

note: more processing power is required. Possible performance drop on cheap computers.

Not quite.
On my worst test system (Athlon XP 2400, 2GB RAM, onboard Nvidia 6100) I just got 45 FPS with 7 players in that camp.

All the previous sounds are still there (they are very good and I don't want to change them).
But Scrappitt asked for the 2nd sexy female death sound.
I don't understand the meaning of a "sexy female death sound" (I prefer them alive),
but it doesn't matter as long as Simon and all the uncles are pleased now.

But it's very difficult to figure out the really stupid and retarded players.
The good part is that none of them is listed in Top 100.

Double interpolation means smoother movement.
I get better results on ALL my test systems (entry-level, mid-range, top).
But if you cannot get a decent computer (we have this discussion for almost an year), I can include a "Interpolation On/Off" button in the main menu ...

The TLT map has been replaced with a new one: Aztec Temple (codenamed AZT).
Gunners, snipers, bombers, all of them are welcome.
In this map you have AK-47 as default machine gun (instead of G-3).
file size: 8.4MB (300KB less compared to previous version).
