Gman,

Somehow you completely missed the thorough explanation Remus gave you regarding your concerns about Welano.

What else do you want?

Here are some options to get away from these guys with really bad connections:

1) Throw them out of camp using > player out command
2) Choose a new camp
3) Lock the camp so none of them can enter
4) Use the > elite camp command to ensure that these types of players do not have entry

i just found her095 in egyptian temple with "hero01" and "they" were the only ones in there. hero01 was just sitting there not moving while hero95 conveniently killed him/her over and over. all of a sudden when i entered the room, they BOTH LEFT AT THE SAME TIME... Tell me that this is not a cheat...

sorry timberwolf, when i posted that second comment about welano, i had not yet read Remus's reply to my original comment.. i didnt realize that the posts are posted in order from oldest to newest and that my post was on page "49". So excuse me, because im still getting used to the forum. And by the way i'm only doing what you all recommend, which is report the "cheats" or bugs or whatever you want to call it.. Maybe I'll just let it go next time...

Always report.

But more important than that, always try to check around for an answer and be sure that they're cheating.

Accusing folks of cheating creates a shitstorm like what's going on above us with the Turks.

Bad connection explains a lot of these "cheats," and there is plenty of literature on the subject around here.

Ok, now i just have a question... I was in the new camp, and messages popped up in the chat box that said "jasonquebec is a speedhack moron" and also some other guy, ad_hex or something like that. I was just wondering where that came from because nobody's name was behind it; it's like it just automatically showed up. And also, if these people are speedhacks and it is known (obviously from the messages), then why are they still playing the game?

The new system tracer registers how many packs a player sends. If they send too many for too long, they're found to be speedhacks.

Remus should have the proper answer as to why they're not thrown out.

Perhaps they haven't updated their browsers yet. Or maybe you need to manually throw them out.

As long as they're speedhacks, toss them and report them

Speed-Hacks, cheaters - these guys will not always use Their Tricks of the Trade at all times? many are careful to see who is in room first! then adjust
cheat-engine that is why it is hard to catch them! they use MSN and other chat service also..which is wrong. and when they get caught? they say I"m sorry to Remus take me back to the game i love! and Remus will give them another chance and that is OK and good. but when you take points away from them. that hurts real bad! or banned them from game?

I think some could be! Lenny- but there is software that will allowed others to Hide IP Address ..i don't know if they can hide IP from Hopeless 2 server?

Uninstall Cheatengine from your computer!
If you continue, I will start banning your IPs.
You won't be able to play even as unregistered players.

I was just in The Frozen City-these guys were moving very fast harun_furkan Tarzanboy , ziu-toto and juan507 klling the rest of us like ants! (others were OK cagari and keviolaf01 ) so i just left room, couldn't play game! i don't know what was going on? but i thought i should report this!

They are not cheaters, especial Tarzanboy, he is ancient.
In game is installed WatchDog so now game is finding cheaters by itself. And if they cheat (use CheatEngine) the game would kick them out.

But...

It goes to show that bad connection and cheat is same thing. I know it is not your fault. But also it is very annoying and very few people want to play because it is advantage unfair in every single way when a good Internet connection has to play a bad Internet connection.

Without this bad connection how good are skills for killing everyone?

ABout these cheat engine morons:

Yeah, I've had my suspicions for a longgggg time about them! I just noticed that there was an inordinate amount of "skill" among the lower ranked players.

They experiment with many more aspects of cheating as well, like more health and more frags and whatever else that engine allows them to do.

Then they unleash it on everyone and come here and swear "no cheat honest i am skill player promise sorry not do it again sorry"

Starting with v2.21 they are all logged.
If they "insist", they get banned.
