RIP Richard Dawson

Post by slapshot »

I'll guess that most of you are too young (unlike some of us old farts,) to remember one of my favorite television shows as a kid, "Hogan's Heroes". One of the key actors was Richard Dawson, who played "Newkirk".

Dawson also appeared on many 1970's iconic shows like "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In" as well as several American TV game shows, and many movies. His acting brought many laughs to all of us here in the U.S. and undoubtedly, to people all over the world.

Mr. Dawson passed away on June 2 due to complications of esophageal cancer.
May he rest in Peace.
 :worship:
