John, if they are new in game and don't know rules of game you should explain them, that's why we are top and old players and not some turkish noob killers.
When we got CTF mod, before every match I was explaining rules to opposite team if they didn't know

But yes, there are rules to the matches.

Basic rules:

1. BEFORE you start shooting, agree on all secondary rules, such as "no mines" or "no use of DS"

2. All players start at the flags. Wait for confirmation from BOTH teams that all players are at the flag.

3. Wait for a countdown. "3-2-1, GO!"

4. Do not leave and return to the game if you can help it.

5. Enjoy!
