I agree with Praveen,
or77 all good,
moisex connection sometimes not so good, but acceptable and nice pleasent player,
standal1 when he started to play this game, his connection was not very good, but now i think his connection has improved (as he told me, he was trying to improve it)

Are they on the Elite List? IDK

A few weeks ago, I noticed a trend: Every single player who was asking to be on the Elite List only wanted to be on this list for one reason - they wanted the power to throw people out of camps.

This is about 25% of why it needs a change. Being an Elite player is not about throwing people out of camps!

I have personally seen some of you--no names needed--throwing players out of camp without ANY reason whatsoever! I have personally seen some of you ganging up on players in camp and beating the shit out of them 2, 3, even 4vs1!

The Elite List brought with it a sense of power, I think. A lot of you guys assume the mantle of Caesar when given a position of power.

Another reason the list needed to change is because we were excluding too many veterans. Like it or not, most of the gaming population here at this current juncture has bad Internet connection because they're from South America, Europe, and Asia.

People with good Internet are a gross minority at the moment. (It's not going to be like this in the future, but right now that's just how it is.)

The few people with good Internet cannot call the shots for everyone else.

So my idea was simple. Or so I thought.

I wanted to give loyal veterans and good attitude players an advantage by allowing them ALL onto the Elite List.

Then, for the players with the best connections, and players who have been here the longest, I wanted them to have the most benefit.

But with all the crying, I haven't even felt like finishing the lists!

Manga, you're right. Veterans do deserve a bonus. And all veterans are getting one. Now I want to put a lot of the veterans on the old Elite List, meaning you will have more power and privileges than non-elite players.

But if you have a really bad Internet connection, there still needs to be separation.

And for whoever is reading this and thinking it's an anti-Turkish measure, GET OVER YOURSELF! Turks are NOT the only people on the planet.

Look past the fact that this game is bigger in Turkey than Islam is and you'll see that there are players from every corner of the globe not being allowed a bonus. It is connection based!

Later today I am going to present a HUGE list of players to be in the new Elite List.

The list of players with the bonus is going to be very, very small.

This bonus list will grow as the game progresses.

At the end of the day, we need compromise here. ALL OF US!

Players with good connection are going to have to stomach playing with some bad connection players! That's just how it is. Suck it up and pull up your diapers.

Players with a good attitude, who are honest, and who have been here the longest, are going to receive the bonus, regardless if their Internet sucks.

They deserve it.

The only reason I haven't put these names on the list yet is because manga and a few others have been crying that "racism" shit without even realizing what's changing!

So on principle alone, you schmucks have to stew a while.

The turkish players need a server in Turkey or Germany.
And their connection will be very good on that server.
This game is able to run on multiple servers around the world.
All you need is a server with Java 1.6 (or newer) installed.
There are thousands of turkish players.
It means a few cents for every turkish player.
Or find a sponsor and you don't have to pay anything.

Even more:
this game has been designed to run with 2 kind of servers: public and private.
The access to the private server is restricted by a list of players.
So if they buy the server, they will decide who can access it.

It's up to the server owner:
- public server (the players from any country can access it)
- private server (he can make a list with players to give them the access).

Thanks for keeping me on the Elite List after 4 months of inactivity, but I'm afraid I will not have enough time to play Hopeless 2 anymore due to increased schoolwork and AS classes.

You can remove me from the list if you want if I'm too inactive. I might log on from time to time just to check out what's going on in the forums and I might play a bit on my brother's account (Fastop), but I'm afraid Safpot is finished. I guess I'll be staying at 10k kills.

So this is my formal goodbye to my friends on Hopeless 2.

Safpot, to keep your player at 10K is your decision but as the sands of time pass by your score will seem less and less as many new players take a grip of the game. Also, what about your friends? Your name of Safpot has respect amongst others and people will enter a camp to see you.

I did notice this issue with other american players as well (Josh was one of them

).
From time to time they don't broadcast their updated score.
They kill someone, but the other players don't see any change in their score.
They kill another one and the other players see +2 frags.

Strange things happen from time to time here but we have to look at the long term picture. Everyone has an off day with their ISP.

I have always found him to be a decent guy with a good connection.
