Clear the browser cache and reload the game.
A new benchmark and more fun for those with good computers:

Type > mirror on and check out the posters in every map.

Be aware: "the doubled camera + 3rd person view" means a significant FPS drop.

Note 2: in KIN and TLT the mirrors are doubled.

And because the mirror is a very good benchmark for your processor (and not only),
now it has an extension:

> mirror on x2

The mirror image quality is much better (double resolution), but you have to pay the price for that.

The Mirror feature requires SW 11.6

p.s.
Select the Full Chat in the starting menu.
It works better on Windows, it should work better on Macs.

I do not know if the new version of Shockwave, or is my PC (maybe), however, my pc is the same as always, quadcore4, 4 ram, nvidia gt8400 (1gig).
now, I see the mouse moves very slow (was previously faster), the fps dropped significantly from what it was before.
Anyway, I thought that now the game is very heavy.

game heavy, slow movements, I see the mouse moves very slow, things will be difficult for me now.

1) it's available in any multiplayer mode (and it's very useful in team matches).
2) every 3 chickens you get a DS. They are cumulative (if you don't kill anyone).

Man, this game would be so awesome if we could just get rid of the worst morons!

I build up my DS today, but three different players on three separate occasions took my strike and didn't die until they killed me!

As soon as the bullet hit, it said the whole "deadly strike" bit, but they still twitched and hacked and gagged and killed me before dying.

But good feature. :agree:

Remus,
These DS kills are awesome, but is it possible to have some button to activate them because I don't want use them at the beginning. Eg. If I play team match and I kill 9 chicken I have 140HP + 100 armor, and 3 DS, so I don't need DS in that moment, I would like to use them if I have low health...

Clear the browser cache and reload the game.
Use the "R" key (toggle) to enable/disable the Deadly Strikes.
More infos:
- you cannot enable them if you don't have any available DS.
- after each kill, they are automatically disabled.

The Land Mines and the Deadly Strikes are welcome in team matches.
Otherwise the bad connections always win.
Here are 2 examples:
http://www.infdat.com/hopeless2/DeathMatch.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
with land mines: Messenger_of_Death 30 - 18 The_Walking_Dead
without landmines: Messenger_of_Death 27 - 30 The_Walking_Dead

Many "almost immortal" players thanks to their very bad connection.
In a dumb "face to face" approach, the good connections have no chance against them.
So the smart players need a workaround.
The land mines and the deadly strike are very useful for smart players with good connection.

And they playing like a rat... With landmines and Deadly Strike...We can't see who is better team..Here one...We was playing with landmines in TFC... and they was in 3 rd...They hide to box..And they put landmines in doors... :whatis:

In my opinion (and I'm not the only one):
"rats" using tips and tricks = smart players
face to face "warriors" = dumb players (they win because their connection is bad).

In the real life is the same:
The huge armies (for example the Ottomans  ) won in "face to face" battles.
The small armies won the battles because they had smart commanders.

Nice one Father Remus i liked it a lot....I hope they will understand the logic of tricks and when we play against them...they will not shout at us '' no mines no mines ''....and '' cowards cowards ''...bcz i dont think one of this kids if they are in a real war...they just pop up in the front of the enemy and shout '' cmon cowards dont put mines and come to me straight and in an orderly fashion ''

I understand why kurt is angry, but kurt combination of you and peri in a match is quiet annoying because both of you don't have good connection, opponents dying like a sitting ducks
You always keep telling "my ping is good, 150ms etc." so what? You think so look normal? Noooo. Try to beat me when my ping sucks and my ping sucks when is about 70-90ms, when I have this ping my K/D ratio is always 6:1 or 7:1, I am quiet immortal then.
If you want to see which team is better DeathMatch in small maps isn't good. Because it is pure boom boom match, play DM is SMC, no too much places for landmines.
CTF and DOM are great modes if you want to see who is better.

Unfortunately, because of the type of connection I have, when it goes "bad," I'm either thrown out of camp as a speedhack moron, or everyone in camp starts swimming. Either way, I can't kill at all with bad connection.

But the thing here is that most of you guys can, especially you guys who always have bad connection.

Kurt, since the old Stryke Mercenary Camp when you used to wear all green noob suit and hide on the hill, it used to take 4, 5 sometimes even 6 sniper shots to kill you.

Your ping meaningless because it bounces around. Sometimes you drop packs and sometimes you send too many.

No big deal. We still like you here. And that's the reason you're in the elite list.

But I think you have a problem with this because it's a taste of your own medicine.

Hey, I understand. The entire time you've been playing this game, you have been able to kill most players (outside of Turkey) with only 1 or a few shots, and you never die with only one shot. So this is probably a big shock to you.

Well, welcome to our world.

I've been dying with one shot since I've been playing this game, so to me, a Deadly Strike is just another day at the office!

On the bright side: You will probably lag often and still get to kill people even if they do hit you with a DS.

Aldinho,

There is something wrong with your browser.
Try the following:
- uninstall the SW plugin and reboot.
- use Internet Explorer (v6 is the fastest).
- get the 11.6.1.629 SW plugin from here: http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/otherversions/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Windows / Slim IE
- check out your FPS value again.

Note: Slim in this case is better than Full, because it will force the update of the flash asset.

nothing, nothing works as it was before. I think all this strange, too.
I am disappointed in myself.
Try the following:
- uninstall Shockwave
- uninstall the graphics card drivers
- reboot
- reinstall the graphics card drivers (use the original CD shipped with the mainboard)
- reboot
- disable Antialiasing
- install the SW plugin

Man, we have the same OS but you have 4 times more RAM, 2 times faster processor and I think better graphic card then my current laptop, but my FPS with 6 players is 35-40 and you alone in camp 25

Your PC is messed up. Maybe you have some viruses or malware programs. Download this program and scan your PC http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-A ... 04572.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Few months ago this program detect at my laptop some malware programs (hijack etc.) which can't be detected by regular antivirus

All the interfaces are flash members. In all my games ...
I always loved flash.

This is a nice community!

If all users face performance drop then we can pin down the issue and fix it.

I checked render to texture on a clean French vmware, 512 MB ram, 3d graphics accelerated, latest director and shockwave builds. It had no issues with open gl. Also on my workstation and laptop it played just fine. No out of memories :D

Then render to texture is not supposed to work with software rendering! because there is no card here to read the input from. This feature always works with a graphics card or on board graphics.

And the lighting thing, can you tell me what should it look like ? Then I can see the expected results and do something!

Also here we could have a thread report bugs with shockwave player, This way all issues get directly to us.

Common don't say the feature is of no use, I think pieter uses it some where in his projects.

Also let me know if you have any problems with normal maps and parallax maps, coz looks like you could use a lot of that in your games.

Thanks for thew welcome :)
