Hopeless 2 (v2.30 - v2.36)

A major game engine enhancement: up to 16 players per camp.

For testing purposes, in this version we'll start with 12 players in FZC, SMC and KIN.
The team modes should work in 6vs6 on these maps.
I said "should work" because I'm not sure if they work properly. :mrgreen:
I tried to do my best to keep all the team tables backward compatible.
I mean "Free For All", "Deathmatch", "Capture The Flag" and "Domination".

note 1:
In case of >10 players per camp you need a good computer if you want a good FPS value.

You are bigger salak than supreme :lol:

After I login on this new update I saw 3 times this situation, I am in camp with 8-10 players and new player (ibrahimzorba) joined but he share place with camp owner, in this situation that was John_H and both players were blinking than boom: John_H is speedhack etc. and ibrahimzorba took his owner place and become IMMORTAL :shock: 100 XM29 bullets in his back and nothing, he was moving normal but damage BIG 0. I even wasn't able to kick him out :evil:

Obviously, the previous version has no idea about player number >8.

I am in ME... Oh, it was so fun, they were shooting me and shooting me but...
Oh yes, I was mortal but only with bombs and when I die I see my dead body :lol:

John_H found a bunch of "salaks" with the older version in all the camps.
For them, slot 9 is slot 1, slot 10 is slot 2, Milan is a honest player, ... and so on.

Fixed a problem with the session owner and new players with slot >9.
You need to clear the browser cache (history) and to reload the game (webpage).

Game is messed up :sad:
90% of players are now in rat mode cause after 10 min of playing they cannot move and if they start to move that's like hell. Plus after 10 min of playing they don't receive right damage, I need to spent 50% of bullets to kill them. They don't have so strong machines for > 8 players in room.

C'mon... Back on old version till (IF) Adobe fix their leak memory problem or if you made some program better than this Adobe SW than put it in game so that we can play normal :wink:

You are wrong (from many points of view).

1) do you want 4, 6 or 8 players in your camp?
> lock camp

2) if you have up to 16, you can set up a camp of 8 players.
if you have up to 8, you canNOT set up a camp of 10 or 12 players.

3) I just talked to players with 49/50 FPS in a camp of 8-9 players.
They are very happy with this update.

4) you picked up the wrong map (FZC) for your "amazing" laptop.
This map has a bunch of hi-res textures and is problematic for most of the computers with onboard graphics.
That's why you always play with the textures quality set to Low.

You don't understand. I didn't have a problem in FZC map. My FPS was 35/50 even after 30 min of playing in camp with 10-12 players, I had problem with opposite players who cannot move and who don't receive damage.

To close this subject, I used the cheapest computer i have.
I keep it for testing purposes only:
AthlonXP 2400, 2GB RAM, onboard Nvidia 6100.
Windows XP, Internet Explorer 6.

Yes, i know, that FPS value is amazing for this crap.
But it's not a fake, and I had over 40 all the time.
And I didn't see any "ghost", "immortal" or "speedhack moron" all that time.
As long as all the players use the latest game version, the game runs PERFECT.

Fixed (probably) the last v2.30 bug (reported by Toz007).
That one with the black sky and frozen screen.
The condition was: you kill someone with slot >9 and he press ESC a few seconds after that.
The problem was related to his weapon.

I didn't find any bug related to Infection, but I didn't like something in the previous implementation.
So I've changed it.
Now if you are dead, you are always monster.

A new multiplayer mode (the 7th): Basic

You can use only the basic weapons: pistol, UZI, shotgun, M-16 & G-36
The players with Pro Package have a small bonus: the 2nd shotgun.
All the mods are set to zero. :twisted:
This multiplayer mode (combined with > elite camp) shows the most skilled players.

This update is 100% backward compatible, so all you have to do is to:
clear the browser cache (history) and to reload the game (webpage).

Yes, and not only that.
All the players have the same health, damage, range, ...
The only thing we need to talk about is if we need to include the "baby sniper" (M-14) or not.
But as you can see, no rockets, no bombs, no super guns.

That's nice, we are all at the same, and yes, you should include M-14, especial in large maps such are FZC, SMC and KIN, in the rest of maps it's worthless :wink:

The AW-50 ammo pack is back in FZC, SMC & KIN.
Also, in all the team modes (registered teams) you start with 100 bullets for both sniper rifles.

On 2.31 we should be able to select a default weapon. the weapon can default once you have ammo for it. its a pain switching to your favorite weapon with every spawn :agree:
