For a skilled player with good connection, the current approach should be MUCH better.
The purpose of this topic is another one:
1) 1 x damage, 1 x accuracy, 1 x ammo (the previous approach)
2) 2 x damage , 2 x accuracy, 0.5 ammo (the current approach).
3) 1.5 x damage, 1.5 x accuracy, 0.75 ammo
...
What's the perfect match for you?
Also, do you think a particular weapon (for example the shotgun) is too powerful?

Lately, I can not even kill chickens, than immortal morons, I think I need to triple damages and the maximum of available ammunition, to have any chance with these by_cheaters of the life.![]()

I don't care if things stayed the way they were. I know already that I'm not playing in a camp with thundercloud and by_30000 and turk_askeri and all these other spastics in the first place.
I was just giving some words of encouragement to my buddies who may be dying a lot faster now than before.
Anything that could be done to kill a pinger is obviously going to have double that effect on a player with good connection.
A good connection player is going to receive more of the packs, be easier to hit, won't twitch and spin.
I've been keeping a Word doc since the first time I watched a bad connection walk through a landmine. To date, I have marked over 360 incidents where a player walks through a landmine and doesn't die, or takes a DS and still manages to kill you before dying. Just yesterday I watched a guy take a DS and kill THREE people before dying!![]()
And like it or not, most of our "pros" are these types of bad connection twitchers. So anything that's done to make them die faster is going to leave every player with good connection doing one of two things.
1: Hiding like a rat so not to get shot
2: Dying a hell of a lot more

When I'm in camp and go up against a pinger who won't die with multiple shots or walks through a DS or is able to kill with 1 megaultrasuperbullet, I don't come gripe about it anymore. I don't leave posts decrying these mucking forons.

Talking about horrible connections and "immortals", there are other solutions:
- another server in Turkey or Germany
- elite camp
- N out
