Both. I'll get a screen cap the next time. Several weeks ago, a player came into our camp and repeatedly locked the camp. We kept asking him to unlock it. I didn't think it as possible.
(And yes it was BEFORE I started drinking beer!)

"a player" does not help at all.
The exact username and a screenshot with the players distribution will help a lot.
In any case, that's a messed up computer/connection or cheater.

Seeing that this discussion is about lock camps I guess I need to vent.
I am a little disappointed with Legend JackFrost, I was in NCY camp tonight (March 17th) the game was going well, of coarse it seams the only one in the room that I guess needed to use MINES was JackFrost. But seeing that he was on the top of the list and must have open the camp, I guess he could set whatever parameters in the camp. Even though my position is not to use MINES I choose to continue to play, not complain, I did not ask the players not to use MINES. I like to think I am getting a little better playing, with good days and bad days in camp. So during the game I did target my anger not with words, but by what good players do and I did my best to see how Jack was playing the game and tried to counter and I think I was slowly getting the best of Jack this night. A little while into the game Jack text me in the message box to reboot. I missed it the first time and he asked again. I looked at my ftp and it did drop a little 46/50 in which I did not think I was becoming immortal, but out of respect I did what was requested I left camp to reboot. Once I returned I tried to enter the camp again and realized I was locked out. I retried a couple of time thinking it was just a glitz, but realized again I was locked out by the camp owner JackFrost. Now seeing that he asked me to reboot I would think there would be and assumption that I would re-enter the camp or was it all along Jack's intention to get me to leave the camp to lock me out. Now I only played with JackFrost in camps a few times since I started playing a year ago, we even chatted a little and I came to the conclusion the he was one of the good guys or was I mistaken. I would like JackFrost to post here is explanation on why he lock the camp when it was not even full up. One final thought, I only take it personal when I think someone has done me wrong. I am a big boy, if Jack was having a bad day and I was have a good day even though it would hurt me all he had to do was ask me to leave camp with a reason and I would go and play with others and avoid any camp JackFrost was in. "So Jack what gives?"

Lenny my friend, yes I am venting. I enjoy my time with my friends in our virtual world. I have nothing personal against Jack, but I believe I deserve an explanation on why I was locked out. As I stated I left to reboot as requested thinking there was a connection problem on my part. I don't think it is BS to vent concerns and problems here in the forum. If it was a mistake to lock me out when I volunteer to leave to reboot, than why does Jack just come here and say it. It seem he is either does not have good judgement or he is just a bad sport when other players are playing well and he is not. I know I am just one voice, but I hear a choir when someone here in our virtual world might not be playing fair. I do agree with you about working it out, but communication must come from both sides and since I posted my vent and concern the one who need to communicate at this time is Jack. If he is in the habit of deceiving a player so he will have and advantage then you tell me should he have responsibility here in our H2 world if he can't be responsible for himself?

I've used max players 6 & Items off...... each 1 time.

I had open room and was trying to set max to 8 players anymore then that will mess-up game to a point it gets slow and takes away my packs...that is why i always set max when i open a room. as for mines others were using them also and that is OK with me now if you don't like mines then leave I'm not going to turn items off. now i have played this game long enough to know when a players is having problems with connection Issues now as for
Sgt Saunders his connection was acting up to a point it started messing game up? and you were getting to a Immortal level, so i ask him more then once to reboot / just because your FPs 46/50 looks good to you! don't mean your not having some kind of problem with server or whatever, so he left room and another player came in and game went to very bad but this player left so i reset max to 7 and locked room. if Sgt Saunders had came back before this other guy came in then he would have been most welcome.

now Remus has said if a player is messing up game kick them out and juan507 is a Immortal and almost all of time he will mess-up game so yes i kicked juan507 and many times ask him to reboot over and over but he will not listen so i have to kick him. i have even ask him to find another room !

as for bad connection problems this happens to all of us sometime.
but remember i ask Sgt_Saunders to reboot because most of time he has a decent connection. but when you shoot players and they don't die and have time delay and movement makes them jump back and forth you know its time for them to reboot. rest of players connection was normal and game was smooth when he left its not my fault someone else came into room with extremely bad connection but he left after a moment. so to get control of situation room was locked.
no one said Sgt_Saunders was a cheater! his computer or connection may have acted up
and i always i ask for players to reboot when these things occurred

He was not kicked and the room was not locked because of him!

So you admitted that you locked the camp and asked Sgt for reboot. If you ask somebody to reboot and if somebody does then you should wait for him instead of locking AND setting limit at same time.

I don't know why you cant understand? so here gos again. i ask Sgt_Saunders to Reboot! he did not return a.s.p the room was still open. someone else came in "Sgt_Saunders " had plenty of time to return....so when the other player left the room -and why he left i don't know? maybe being killed to much who knows? but to stabilize the room, it was Locked. no internalization to block "Sgt_Saunders " was made.
just because the room got lock! it didn't mean he was being block.
he was not blocked he had time to come back. so no wrong doing on my part.

You tried to enter three times, but with its great connection you could not even get on the field. Explained.

I want to thank Jack for taking the time to respond to my post. I believe I am still learning all the time on how things work here in our H2 world. Jack if you say that your intention was not to block me from reentering the camp than I believe you. If you feel from your point of view that I was immortal I can understand why you requested me to reboot. But you need to understand from my point of view that there was nothing wrong with my connection. There has been times when I play for long periods of time that my ftp has dropped to mid 30's and my own computer becomes sluggish and out of courtesy and respect to other players I leave to reboot to clean up my internet connection, but when its in the upper 40's there is never before been a problem. By the way when I play I die very well when I am shot, and that day was no exception. And as of my comments on mines in my original post, yes I did bring it up, but as I explained I did not complain, I did not ask for "items off". You see just like a lot of new players (noobs) when I started a year ago when I discovered on how to use mines I use them with the best of them, but as I stated in my post a while back on mines that I choose not to use them, because I have found there is no real strategy in using them. I feel I have become a better player and it has excelled my game. "I don't need that crutch anymore", but there are many player who will use them in which I understand, so when I have enough these annoying mines I within the game target those who lay them and I work real hard to get them before they get me. If and when I have been successful that player either quit using mine in camp or they leave the camp on there own. And now and then I meet that player in other camps on other days and it seem to me that they are not in a hurry to use mines. I have my list here on my desk to lookout for them to remind me of what kind of opponent I am up against. So not to belabor this any longer Jack if I show up in one of your camps and you don't want to play with me in the room because you are concerned that I have become all of a sudden "immortal" , just ask me to leave and don't come back why your are there so I don't upset your "packs" and make the game unpleasant for you. And if for some reason you are compelled to enter a camp that I am already playing feel free to play as you wish "mine's and all", I promise to die well, but remember I will track you down and take you out.

Sgt_Saunders, sometime computer can have a glitch, server problems many things can cause connection issues. you might think because your FPS and packs are good your OK - and you don't see nothing wrong but others can see it some players eat packs. but you should know when owner of room ask you to reboot there is a good reason for it! and you should comply that is the only right think to do. now my good friend ulubatli ask me to reboot one day? and i did so without any complaints, i lost all my guns, bullets, and D/S when i came back into room he say he was sorry it was only a joke he didn't think i would reboot? but i just laughed it off !/ but anyways please understand you were not targeted i had good reason, and you were not blocked on purpose!
as for playing game with you I'M OK with that its fun, always feel free to come into room and this is the first time i had a problem with you. its no big deal - but remember room owners have the right to max, Items off, kick for good reason, or make Elite Camp! these rules apply and are made available to us by Remus who made this game possible! and my friends that know me can tell you i go by the rules. but if this ever happens again i will ask you simply to reboot ! so reload game clear the caches and come back before i batten down the hatches
