DS's
I'm new, started playing a couple of days ago. What is the purpose of DS's and how are they used? I killed a bunch of crows and chickens. My armor went up and it showed I had 4 DS's. Is a DS something I actually get to use? If so how do I use it and for what? Next question is about the compass. Am I the purple dot? What does the red dot that shows up sometimes mean? Thanks in advance to all you seasoned players.

Re: DS's A question about using DS's
I'm actually adding to my post. Maybe I should have said I have a question about DS's in my subject line.

Re: DS's
Deadly Strikes are achieved by killing the crow that flies around in the sky. If you are new, you must kill 5 crows to earn 1 DS. To use the DS, press the "R" key and you will see the DS counter turn blue. The next shot will kill a player!ncflygirl222 wrote:I'm new, started playing a couple of days ago. Yesterday I played with players in NCY FREE FOR ALL and Kirby was one of them. I think kirby might be cheating and using infinite DS.
Here is the proof. Kirby used like more than 20 DS after this screen shot that i took.

I hate to defend this one, but Remus is right. If I open a camp, I will shoot crows until someone comes along. I could easily build up 20 - 30 DS some days if there are not many players online...Remus wrote:Very hard to believe.uk-army wrote:I think kirby might be cheating and using infinite DS.![]()
He was the camp owner, he cannot use the in-game chat anymore (),
so his job now is to kill crows.

You are always the center of the compass.ncflygirl222 wrote:Next question is about the compass. Am I the purple dot? What does the red dot that shows up sometimes mean? Thanks in advance to all you seasoned players.
The purple dot is the warehouse.
The red dot that shows up sometimes is the nasty chicken.

If you buy the Radar from the warehouse, you'll see the position of all the players.

Thanks Remus. This is a great game but needs more players. Most of the time I try to play there's nobody else in any rooms. I've been going in, killing crows and spend alot of time waiting.Remus wrote:You are always the center of the compass.ncflygirl222 wrote:Next question is about the compass. Am I the purple dot? About 95% of the daily players are unregistered.ncflygirl222 wrote:Thanks Remus. This is a great game but needs more players. Most of the time I try to play there's nobody else in any rooms. I've been going in, killing crows and spend alot of time waiting.
You can find them at any second during the entire day.
But keep in mind: they canNOT use the "infdat.com" game server.
They are all forced to play on "necromanthus.com".

Re: DS's
thanks uk. I just joined yesterday so am learning the ropes. So since I reached 100 frags I'm still allowed to play in a beginners room IF I or someone else with 100+ frags starts a new room? Is that correct? I'm guessing the other rooms would have more players seeing that after 1oo frags you basically have to go into a non beginner room in order to "join" a game. Is that correct?uk-army wrote:This happens when you get over 100 frags and you want to go in BEGINNERS camp but i still don't know why it happens. Thanks Remus. - all the unregistered players are in "Beginners" on necromanthus.com
- all the registered players with less than 100 frags are in the same place
- all the registered players with 100-500 frags have 2 options:
1) "Beginners" (they are on necromanthus.com)
2) "Free For All" (they are on infdat.com)
