They may not all happen but good ideas will be rewarded.
My first suggestion is to have a 'Lock camp' command in free teams.

A very good idea Simon.Scrappitt wrote:My first suggestion is to have a 'Lock camp' command in free teams.
Hmmm!Timberwolf wrote:Okay, before I was joking, but this time I'm serious!
Great idea... when I thought of it!
I second my motion!
Yes, double validation is possible.Timberwolf wrote:Could it be one player from each team? Now we need to decide who can perform that (dangerous) action.
The 1st listed player is still the "boss": he gives a free slot in case of request.Scrappitt wrote:If someone locked the camp and lost connection, would the camp just become unlocked?
What would happen to the scoreboard as well if they left?
If someone from the camp lost connection, could they gain access again?
I agree with what Timber suggests but I wanted to see how different scenarios affect the camp. At the moment some of the South Americans can get dropped out of camp easily.Remus wrote:But Josh wants 2 ordinary players to lock the camp for all the players.
It's something completely different.
Maybe you require to be a certain rank to lock a camp. Call it a bonus.Timberwolf wrote:Maybe you email out the special command to a few of the top team participants, and then we'll have an opportunity to set a camp without noobs knowing the command and locking a 1vs1 or 2vs1, etc.
I can't agree with that... At the beggining I thought like you: is much better you have the chance to write during that fatal 5 seconds xD but... there are cowards and stupids that can use it in a simple way to turn the game unfair. Exemple: in a 1vs2 or something similar, your are face to face with another player of the other team. You killed him. What he/she does? in the chat tell to the team where you are and you turn a rabbit with almost 0 health near to be a victim of an ambush. With that boring 5 seconds period, you can be else where, take ammo, etc. Don't be made with me for disagreeingsimplysheikh wrote:9 - chat option [ON] in every condition also in (Reswaping time in 5 Sec)
How can I be mad with you for a good comment.johny wrote: Don't be mad with me for disagreeing![]()
you won Scrappitt and Simply!Remus wrote:see beta 1.29.
Yes Milan, I expected this request.Milan wrote:My dear friend Remus,
PLEASE DO SOMETHING
This became a nightmare, we can not play the normal one free team and that some of the new players come and destroy everything ... it's become a waste of time, you can do many things, to prohibit that eg. anyone <1000 frags can not participate in free or team or to make a list of players who deserve to play in the team free and anyone new who wants to be on the list should be to deserve it. Or that there is a special command who can play and who does not ... I know that we have a "lock" and "unlock" but it does not help us much...
Honestly and from the heart, your Milan.
Unfortunately it's not so simple as it looks.Timberwolf wrote:I think the command is perfect instead of creating a separate teams room. The camp owner can put in the "> elite teams" command, and only players with so many frags can enter.
As you said, it's not perfrct idea, it's a GREAT idea... Bravo Simon!Scrappitt wrote: If we limit 'free teams' to members of registered teams then there is still a little control of who goes in. I understand that this is a little harsh on people who aren't in or don't want to join a team.
Also, to be in a registered team, you need to be registered in this forum.
This means contact is easier for everone to help new players.
:) i like thisRemus wrote:Here is a better approach:
The session owner can launch the > camp elite command.
- all the players with less than 500 frags are kicked out from the camp.
- any new player with less than 500 frags after he joins the camp is kicked out.
- if the session owner leaves the camp (or lost connection), the camp remains "elite".
What do you think about all of these?
Yes, as i said before, the frags limit is not broadcasted for the new players.Milan wrote:We also had problem yesterday in free team... well it wasn't so big problem, score is saved on 100, but when we pass 50 frags, on every next frag score first show 0-0 that after that show real score...
Yes Aldinho, you are right.Topz007 wrote:A suggestion for a smooth running of a game, maybe it would be to elect some good players who could have the power to moderate.
Some players just entering the game to spread offense (homophobia, anti-Semitism), etc..
Good command, such as username out / ban (may be temporary and only a suggestion).
LOLTimberwolf wrote:Giving that power to me would be the best bet!![]()
It will be available starting with the next update.Milan wrote:I have one suggestion about in-game chat.
It would be good to have some command with which we can talk only with out team mates
