Lying Position

Post by Milan »

I have one idea and that's to have lying position, we already have standing (logical) and kneeling positions and I think lying position will be cool, especially for sniper guys in SMC and KIN... I know it's possible to make something like that and I would like to hear opinions from Remus and other guys...

One, two, Freddy's coming for you.
Three, four, better lock your door.
Five, six, grab your crucifix.
Seven, eight, gonna stay up late.
Nine, ten, never sleep again..

lol

And this is just a general question.

Now that we walk slower, do the weapon drops have the same shelf life?

I'm noticing that I'm not grabbing as many weapons as before on a distance kill. Or it might be my imagination.

You don't walk slower at all.
The movement speed is the same.
"Walk ahead" = 1.0 speed
"Walk ahead + strafe" = sqrt(0.85*0.85 + 0.5*0.5) = 0.986 speed
All I did was to fix a 2 years old bug: "walk ahead + strafe" = 1.12 speed (12% speedhack  )

I've been thinking about the lying/prone position for a while too, I mean it only makes sense to have it because the M-249 has that tripod, well, if you lay down, it would look right than just walking around with it on. same for the sniper, yet you could also add a tripod on the Dragnov, or the pro package snipe then you could lay down and you'll be pretty secure and almost unidentifiable  .
Target, 2 clicks out. Lock n’ load. Let’s look alive gentlemen.
