As Lenny has pointed out, the "Elite + Bonus is the highest accolade a player can receive."

With this comes a lot of power (triple power to kick or mute a player).
Just because you have this power does not mean you need to use it often!

These powers were created to help even up the gameplay against immortals, or players with extremely bad attitude.

It is normal to be cursed at. For example, if I lose, I'm called "gay"; and when I win, I'm called "gay".

While I consider this behavior to be immature, the point is to not take offense. I could just kick out every player who curses at me or calls me gay.

I won't. Nor will I come whining on this forum about it. Honestly, if it really bothers me, I generally leave the camp. Occasionally, a player may need to be kicked or muted to prove a point. But usually, if I explain that I don't care for the cursing, or name-calling, the player will quit. They usually don't mean to offend. Or may just be frustrated if they are low in frags and are still learning the game.

When I first started, it seemed like many of the senior players killed me with ease over and over. It did get frustrating. Especially when John_H spent the better part of an hour pinning me down in FZC with the AW-50. I couldn't make a move without being instantly killed. But he took a moment to explain that I had to learn to duck and avoid being killed or I would never get any better. Now I could have lost my cool and called him names or told him "he was gay". But I thought about it and realized that his intentions were good. (Don't get me wrong, he was also having fun nailing down a noob! )

My point in all of this is rather than kicking a player out of camp every time you play, take the time to work with that player. Help him or her understand the game and become better.

I've made a lot of good friends doing just this (both ways, teaching and learning from).

Try to use your powers sparingly and you'll be respected for doing so.

Thanks everyone who voted for me to get the bonus. I really appreciate it and that's why you got some money from me. Somebody calls it a bribe but I call it friendly help to buy a better PC for playing the game.

This is a very nice post.
Players with the bonus shouldn't feel more power over other players but more responsibility. Lets have fun, learn from each other and kill as much players as we can.

Just delete the other emoticons. I think Remus keeps a minimum of 4 so the posts will load quickly. (Or because he is stingy)

For "bonus" you need 2 votes from moderators or 4 votes from the players with bonus.
