I hate to do this. I honestly do. But cins - your Elite Mode membership has to be pulled on the basis that your connection is too bad.

I thought it was some bottleneck thing like Remus explains that would pass. But it gets worse and worse.

Cins, this is the reason:

Your connection is very bad and it makes you see the camp bad also. However, while you might "see" other players looking strange, they still receive packets and are still good.

Example: You and I are having a sniper face-off. I hit you with 3 shots, you're left with 26 points. You hit me with 1 shot and I'm left with 2 points, eventually dying on the second. Because of your connection, I might "look" bad - but I'm not acting bad.

Like in the middle of the castle: you said "100 shots." Well, you were still firing the gun after I had sent 3 bombs on top of 20 Mguns as you were coming through the door.

On my screen, you were technically dead but somehow still able to keep firing shots and causing me damage.

There's just some problem you're having at the moment, and hopefully it will straighten up.

But don't take my word for it if you don't want. Ask someone else if you don't believe me.

Check your packs; ask Remus about your ISP if you have any questions; check out your quality and shut off ALL other pages while playing the game.

Better connection will also help you see the game better, as you will actually be in sync with other players within the environment and not coming in and out like Michael J. Fox.

The connection quality needs to be fixed. Cins needs to shut off other pages or something.

My vote: unfortunately, yes. Until it is corrected, "Elite Mode" is a standard of decent/good Internet connection quality.

But I'm only one vote. Scrappitt might disagree.

Cins, this isn't personal. Your connection is just having some issues, buddy - and they are not necessarily shown from Remus' log, as in packs you did not receive from other players.

Those are only the "personal" errors.
To get closer to reality, multiply the number of "personal" errors with the number of players in that camp.

And again: we cannot possibly know EVERY player. So, eventually, if players want to take part in the evolving--and soon to dominate--"Elite" process, speak up and we'll see if you qualify based solely on Internet connection quality.

This isn't biased. If you have good connection, you're in there.

Eventually, ALL bad connections will be TOSSED OUT COMPLETELY!

You cannot find players if less than 100 have access now (Pro Package is also required).
But wait for Timberwolf & Scrappitt to scan the first 1000.
Wait for me to add some bonuses for the "elite" camps.

This is the beginning stages of the Elite Mode, searching for the best model.

After we cycle through the first 1000 players and decide who registers as a good connection, the "Elite" will be something that is hopefully integrated with basic camps.

For example, if I'm owning a camp and the other players:

Timberwolf
Musoi
Distrug
Mucaht
Lenny
Gktub
Anikilabrador
xxxreyx

I can say, "F this!" and type in "> elite camp" and then the camp looks like:

Timberwolf
Musoi
Distrug
Lenny

And it is then locked to every player not registered as Elite players.

So, as the list grows and the Elite Mode evolves, you will probably notice that the majority of camps have an "Elite" owner that sets the camp so that bad connections cannot enter.

Then, hopefully, the bad connections will go away or get it fixed.

Be patient. It's all a work in progress. And while I can talk about it all day, it's Remus who actually has to do it. And he has more on his plate than a fat guy at a buffet.

Thanks for the explanations...i look forward that the elite mode enters its full rights and be populated...my experience with mucaht the other night drives me crazy...in kineterra domination...4 sniper shots at head and over 50 m249 plus 2 bazookas right at his feet...and the kid dont die!!!...finnally finds me...one shot at me...dead !...of course...he recognize..bad conn bad conn...his mate cins says we are crazy to play with them...with their connections...but...we were in the mood and no other team was online so...we played anyway...im not complaining...i was knowing from the beginning in what kind of shit we will enter but still...i never saw something like that night... they just dont die ...haha timber...''anikilabrador

This is getting tricky as I can't remember everyone's connection in that list if indeed I have played them at all.

But take the odds so far that about 1 in 3 is ok and that will tell you how many players will probably be added.
Remus, can we add/remove players by countries? Is that possible?
This is not a great policy but may get a few more on the list quicker as there are a lot to sort out.

I think the best solution is this:

We go through them and just vote on the players we know.

We can ask Milan or Supreme or Top or Sheikh or Lenny to weigh in for the 300s on, since they all play a lot more than we play.

Only name the guys with good/okay connections. They're the only ones who get entry. Everyone else is off the list.

If anyone is found later to have good/okay connection, or if anyone wants to request Elite activation after the fact, then we can handle that on a name-by-name basis.

After I watch Iron Chef and Boardwalk Empire I'll go through the next 200 on the list. I suspect I'll only recognize about 1/4 of them, but it's a start.

Any better way, I'm open for it!

I'm going to make a list of players i come across in the next two weeks.
Who have less than 5000 frags.
With Y or N (hopefully more than once)

I suggest 10 or 20 more players on the list do something similar.
Then submit to the Moderators.

Most will be NO bcoz we NaTURaLLY see bad connection more than good.
We have at least 20 like minded mature players with one common goal.
So lets try and see what we come up with.

I am sorry Lenny but I disagree with you here.
Yes this list has some proven veteran players but not all have good enough connections themslves to judge properly.
Saying that, all recommendations will be considered and from these players it will certainly help them.

This is my list of players i suggest.
Pick what you will, Then add your suggestions.
Lets get this Elite camp going asap.
For me at the moment this list has ground to a holt.
This would be a one off list.
Once done the moderators can moderate.

There are 3 players on that list with "good" connections...

There are 13 players on that list with "BAD" connections, but exceptions were made to let them in...

So how many players with good enough connection to judge on your list Josh.

Josh is right.
Ovidiu and musoi have very good connections.
distrugatoru has a good connection (but his computer has problems from time to time).
But in my opinion there are also 7-8 players on Lenny's list with ok-good connection.

I've been asked to help,give an opinion,judge what ever you won't to call it.
That's what I'm trying to do.
Remus say's 7or 8 I have picked.
Pick 7 or 8 more.
Ask these players to make a list.
Hand it in in 2 or 3 weeks (not 1 or 2 players at a time)
Would this not help you out with Elite camp?

I'm working on another list. I've actually been playing more so I can know who's who - that way I'm not just speculating, and that way we can actually have more!

I've seen a bunch here in the past few days. Most have been you-know-whos.... but there's nothing to be done about that.
