MODS... Please explain?

Great game...
Can someone please explain how you get mods or earn them.

I now have a 10% weapon mod but do not know I received it?

After 100, 500, 1000 etc. you will get some of bonuses.
e.g. After 100 frags you will get 10% of ammo, so that means 10% more ammo than you had before.
If you buy PRO package you will get all mods +20%.
