Nobody's being banned from the game. The can play everything they want - except for Elite Mode.

If they want to play Elite Mode, then they should qualify for it by having a good ISP. Maybe they can even get in there by cutting off their messengers and other programs.

Remus has given a free ride to EVERYONE.

It hurts nothing to have a section here that you must qualify for.

To be on a team, a player must have a certain number of frags and reply on the forum.

Nothing different here: to be in Elite camps, a player must have a good Internet connection or be friends--essentially a guest--with someone who does.

In any case, this is a solution that should make everyone happy in the end.

Players with good connections can play knowing that bad connections won't ruin it, and players with bad connections are not being discriminated against. They're still allowed to play - just not with good connection players.

It shouldn't be offensive to anyone.

I bet you if any other game designer besides Remus made a game like this, there would be MANY more restrictions based on Internet quality.

After all, this is an INTERNET-based game. If you don't have the right equipment, including a good ISP and a good PC, it's nobody's fault but yours.

I've had to invest to make my PC better to play. Now some players with really bad ISP will either have to do something about or not be in an Elite camp.

Seems fair to me.

I can agree with yuca. He is a good guy and a relatively old player.

And, come to think of it, this guy has rebooted his connection before when I've asked. So he realizes his connection is bad and actually tries to do something about it.

Apart from that, he's not the BAD end of bad, so that's fine with me.

Many of those players have terrible connection.
And we're talking about decent connections here.

i didnt tell that include all.. i just made inspectors task easy,

there are only max 10 to select based on different selection criteria. bcz on bases of good connection there are maximum 3 or 4. hehe

You can log in and play any multiplayer mode except this one.
I do NOT add any player on that list.
"elite players" does not mean the best players.
It means good players with decent internet connection.
It's up to Timberwolf and Scrappitt to nominate them.
I can approve or deny their nominations.

Why? Neither one of you have good, stable Internet connections.

You can play everywhere else on this entire game all that you want.

But this Elite mode is specifically for players with decent/normal/good Internet.

For starters,

Turn off EVERY messenger, other program, or anything else you have running on your PC when you play the game.

Having IE or Mozilla opened to another page and having MSN and all that makes you look ridiculous and we do not want you in camps. That's why we asked Remus to make separate camps.

Contact ISPs around your area and find a better one with a better route to the server in Chicago, USA.

Do these things, then we will see if your connection is okay.

If your connection is okay, you can have access.

Ask Ulubatli which ISP he uses, he IS on the list as he has a good connection.

Sometimes it's bad, but by and large I don't think he plays with 20 programs running in the back.

A few players (Extreme66, Extreme99, Rudel, etc) are inactive for over 2 months.
So I did not include them.
But if they come back, they are welcome.

I played him 1v1 this week and he was fine.
This list is not set in stone, if players show regular bad signs then they are out.
Timber won't let this new camp be spoilt for anything

Hell no! If anyone shows "bad," they're OFF the list!

Go play in camps with other bads.

I mean, if you're bad, you have to face it. You might want to play with goods so you can have an easier time, but that was old H2.

This is new H2, and I thank Remus greatly!

It will take a long time until people begin to play in these camps regularly, but it's a step in the right direction. We don't need to go backwards now, so all "bad" connections can just stay where they're at.

Definitely.
In all the other games, the people with bad connection can play in perfect conditions.

In fact, if they send queued messages with abnormal delay most of the time,
in all the other games they cannot play at all.

This is a list for players with okay/good Internet connections.

We are simply separating camps by connection quality - a separating which is not mandatory.

The point: if a player feels like playing, yet all they can find are bad connections, an "Elite Camp" mode provides a place they can play without bad connections.

Now, your connection was judged by Scrappitt and me (Timberwolf) as "bad."

If you would like to contest this and feel that you have good/okay Internet, then we will gladly check you out again and see if your Internet is a decent quality.

If it is, then you are more than welcome to have access to Elite camps. If it is not, then you will not be granted access to these camps.



That goes for anyone denied access: if you feel like your connection is actually good/okay, then tell us and we will judge it again!

Anyone with a propack and good/okay Internet is more than welcome into the Elite camps. Anyone.
