Guys,

The reason it's staying at 5 seconds is so dumbs can't use mines for isntant kills.

If it wasn't for the dumbs trying to set mines in front of people n a face-to-face gunfight, then it could be 2 seconds or 1 second, or instant.

But we have too many noobs in this game! :lol:

and Lenny you will see how the mine can be used in so many tactics with the timer set at 3 and for sure :twisted: many dumb connections will learn something :twisted:

Walking by and setting a mine for an instant kill is okay with me IF the person setting it also took damage.

It's kind of dumb that 2 people can be right on top of one another, and one is killed even if he has 130HP and 100 armor, and the other doesn't lose even 1 HP.

That's not a tactic; that's called a game bug! :lol:

3 seconds is okay with me.

I just checked out and they both die (double kill is also possible).

I was talking to John in response to his "brutal tactic" comment. I meant how it used to be before the 5 seconds was implemented universally. :biggthumbsup:

But 3 works fine.

But there will be a lot more of "Timberwolf just killed a teammate" because supreme can't move when Timberwolf says "MOVE OMG BLUE DOT!" :lol:

Hello guys and salve Remus ! The mine is awesome but i dont understand a thing....why hp is taked away from me when a dumb teammate steps on it?!!!...they saw my mine, right?....they know that is NOT a candy, right?...then why the hell steps on it?!!!...im talking about the cases from free teams gamemode, my messengers of death know what is all about ( excepting few times :lol: )...in my opinion...should be like this:...if a dumb teammate steps on my mine..there should be a message on gamechat like this : '' im a dumb for killing myself in friendly mine ''...and my healthpoints remains intact...and after the dumb respawn...he should have 50% health...punishment for blindness and stupidity....is not my fault for a moron's death, right? :mrgreen: :cheers:

The penalty for killing a mate is the same in any team mode.
Talking about landmines, take it in this way:
I got punished because there are dumbs in my team.

In most of the cases, Free Teams = Dumb Teams. :mrgreen:
This team mode should be used to find & test team mates for the REAL teams. :wink:
But talking about teamplay and maps, it seems that TFC is the most played map in the entire gaming history:
