The new game engine (NecroSmooth v5) is done.
About 30% faster (compared to the current one) and up to 16 simultaneous weapons.
Probably you're going to use the keys 1...8 and (Left Shift + 1...8) to select the weapon.
It will be available this month.

si pero la pregunta del dia es como comprar el m4 pro tu dices que en el paquete profecional y a mi no me sale esto a y otra cosa por fabor inscribe a mi equipo para el torneo haber si nos ganamos esta arma si remus por fabor dime como comprar el arma

v2.21

A new (super) weapon has been included: M4-Pro.
Machine gun with increased damage & accuracy plus ... grenade launcher!
Left Mouse click for bullets, Right Mouse click for grenades.

Click on the "Weapons" button in the starting menu to see the new weapons configuration.

good weapon, remember that oldest mercenary camp!! :mrgreen:
but,, de new map FZC, is very strong for bad conections, after any minutes, the Fps droping.
I got 33 packs,, 33/34, 0 errors,, after 10 minutes , my fps drop and i get it any warnings erros. (with most 7 or 8 players), many difficult for use the chat.
anyway, the rest is good! :baby:

then this would be more convenient for players in switching similar guns and they wont be required to change the keys if they don't have pro :P

but i love this new map and updates though my fps drop to 20 after some time in new map , hehe

Now about the FPS drop in the FZC map:
I already told you from beginning: this map is using many hi-res textures.
If you combine that with the Shockwave plugin memory leak (thanks to Adobe),
you'll get a memory usage growing faster.
After you reach your local limit, it comes the FPS drop.
Set the textures quality to "Medium" (or even "Low") in the starting menu
to improve your FPS on mid-range computers.

Tell Adobe to transfer the Shockwave plugin to Necromanthus.

Because I got questions about the WatchDog introduced in v2.21:

You can see the "username is a speedhack moron !" message in 2 cases:
1) speedhack moron
2) player with very bad connection who is acting like a speedhacker.
The 2nd case is a rare one.
In both cases that player is kicked out of camp.
Also keep in mind: there are many players with bad connection.
But most of them don't act like a speedhacker.

You told me once about players with MSN and antivirus and things like that on - and when it's on, they can go from having 160ms to 900ms...

In a future update, is there any way you can tweak it to where players are thrown out of camp for these random spikes?

Maybe with a message: "____ is a Bad Connection Moron!"

After coming here and asking "why out remus i am connection moron what is mine good" most will learn to turn that other crap off.

And at the very least, we get rid of more morons.

the WatchDog is less aggressive now.

The game engine has been upgraded to NecroSmooth v5:
- 20-30% faster on mid-range computers
- up to 24 (!!!) simultaneous weapons
- if Adobe will fix the SW memory leak, you'll get 12-16 players per camp. :P
You'll notice a difference when you switch the weapons (a little bit slower, but more realistic).
I hope I didn't mess up anything ... :mrgreen:

You need to clear the browser cache (history) and to relad the game (webpage).

I really hope I can get used to this.

Perhaps the only thing that ever made me a good player in this game was the fact that I could think on the fly, and my 80+ WPM typing speed means I could change out in an instant.

If some spaz was impossible to hit with the shotgun, I could quickly switch to M-249 and win. If some idiot takes 20 shots then goes behind a wall, I know he's switching to bomb, so my quick reflexes allow me to switch first and get the win.

That's gone. I just got my ass kicked about 60-5 in a noob beginner camp.

It's really bad when you walk over a weapon to pick it up. It's almost an extra 1 second on top of the old wait.

I understand "more realistic," but these measures to make the game more realistic (like giving pistol/shotgun more damage, now increased waiting times) just put me behind the 8 ball all over again.

Pingtards don't have to worry about this, of course. They can absorb the first 3 bullets without taking damage anyway, not to mention that they're exponentially harder to hit than anyone with a good connection.

I hope I can get used to this. Right now, it's a bummer.

when you pick up a weapon same with the current one, there is no delay at all.
NecroSmooth v5 is a real arsenal controller.

A game with 9 simultaneous weapons is a "rara avis" anyway.
And I'm not talking only about browser games here. :mrgreen:
But you'll get 16 in the next months.
And no "Shift + N" because it's annoying.
Toggle switches (like the current "3" for M-16/BAR)

Changed policy in Infection:

If you join a camp, you join as monster.
You need to kill 3 enemies or to wait for "New Round" to turn yourself into human.
In this way we get rid of players with bad attitude
(they leave the camp and join a few seconds later ... reset to human).
Now if they do that again, they reset to monster with zero kills.
