I would like to offer help to any new players who are struggling with the game. We need "new blood" and I think many new players become easily discouraged and quit before they realize what it takes to integrate.

Most of us started from scratch, struggling to get a few frags per game, but through the tips and advice of others, became stronger and better. We all know it takes WORK to hit that first 1000 frags!

I also see some players "taunting the noobs". While a certain amount of this is just in good fun, we need to be cognizant that new players have feelings and don't necessarily know who is having fun WITH them vs who is making fun OF them. It's just good sportsmanship.

So I make this offer to all new players: if you see me in a camp, and you truly want to learn to become a stronger player, call me out and I will offer help, tips, advice, answer any questions I can.

I've had a LOT OF FUN at this game and made some good friends and acquaintances along the way.

So fellow players, remember where you came from and when you see someone with a few hundred points, offer tips to help them become better opponents. You never know who may become your next team mate!

I agree, we need to support (and have a little fun with) the noobs, when I have a mouse (lol) that works, I can duke it out with the best of them. I'm thinking for starters of building a beginners guide of simple things, you know, shoot only when crosshairs are red (OMG some people don't know this lol) and I can give some tips on how to do certain map types etc

Tawlney. You still can't get you mouse to work?????

Yeah, amazingly, the update to shockwave fixed every bug but that one I have one last trick left to try but I'm not optimistic

I'm glad you agree. Hopefully, some of the newer players will find the post. But for now, I just keep throwing out tips and pointers to them.
