Best Performance?

Post by Lenny »

Remus I know you have said this before, but can you tell me the best, Operating system, Browser, antivirus and any thing else, you may think important.

I've searched on the forum.
I just don't want to get something wrong.

Talking about Shockwave 3D, the fastest combination is:
Windows XP, Internet Explorer 6 (it comes with XP-SP2), Avira Antivirus and Nvidia graphics card.

There are many players with Windows 7.
It's ok, but you asked for "best performance".
And "Win XP + IE6" is faster than "Win 7 + IE8".

About the only way you're going to be able to get XP running on that new a machine is to install it via Parallels or Fusion. Both provide virtual drivers, however, you will not be able to run any graphic intensive application or one which needs 3D rendering. Stick with Windows 7.

I've dragged this from, mac-forum.com
Other sites are saying the same things.
So i think my best option is Windows 7
Thanks for your help Remus

You didn't say anything about Mac and virtual machines.
So Win 7 is probably the best option in your case.
