Today i want to get my 1000 RAM from my house and put it in my gf comp...do you think this will help?.
My cheapest test computer:
Athlon XP 2400, 2GB RAM, onboard GeForce 6150, Windows XP, IE6
I get over 40 FPS in a camp of 6.
Some tips for you:
1) 512 MB RAM is not enough at all.
You need 2GB (especially in case of onboard graphics).
2) check out the BIOS settings and be sure at least 256MB RAM are shared to Video.
3) be sure the Antialiasing is disabled (Display Properties).
4) many Antiviruses kill the computers.
I always recommend Avira (the free version is also very good).
