Keep you connection at it's best:
Turn off all other programs like IMs (Instant Messenger), Facebook, MSN Chat or any other program that uses the internet while running this game. Do NOT keep multiple tabs open while playing. If your computer is in the middle of downloading updates, please wait for it to complete before joining the game.
Clear your cache (internet history) from time to time.
After an hour or so, the history fills up quickly and can bog down your connection. Your character will display jerky or choppy movement to other players. You may notice problems with your in-game chat. Your character may become increasingly harder to kill. If you are asked by other players to "re-boot" or "re-load" the game, it is probably due to this. PLEASE leave the game, re-boot and then return. If you do not, you may be "punished" or kicked out the game.
Keep a good attitude
Don't get angry and please do not use vulgar language. There are many younger players in the camps and we try to keep it clean. Be respectful to other players. Again, if you do not, you may be muted by another player or even "punished" (kicked out). Realize, there will always be someone killing you: that's the point of the game! But we all are happy to give you pointers and advice as to becoming a better player. We all have met many great people from all over the world in this game, made friends, and openly welcome new players to join us!
CHEATING OF ANY KIND IS NOT TOLERATED
If you are found cheating, you can and will be banned from entering this game.

Keep your comments clean. Share jokes, ask questions. Watch the "Announcements" topic for all the news and updates regarding Hopeless 2. BUT, ADVERTISING IS NOT ALLOWED. There are several moderators who monitor this forum. Advertisements will be promptly removed and the poster will be permanently banned. All other posts may be subject to editing or deletion by the moderators.
When game updates are announced, clear your history (internet browsing history) before joining the game. These new updates will not take effect until you do. Sometimes, it can even interfere with the game for others if you have not cleared your history.
But most importantly, HAVE FUN!
Feel free to chat during the game and get to know each other. (Press "ENTER" to begin typing. Press "ENTER" again to display the chat. NOTE: Your character is temporarily disabled and vulnerable during chat. You can always use the "break time" command to chat, or just take a rest. Simply type: > break time then press "ENTER". Your character will be temporarily off the playing field and a countdown timer will display letting you know how much time you have left. You will be able to monitor and use the chat screen during this time. After your break, type the command again to return to normal play. Otherwise, once the timer expires, your character will automatically return to the game.
This is a free game and it costs you nothing to play. We all value this game highly and expect the same from newer players. Please respect the rules and enjoy the game!
