Hopeless 2 Forum

After a long time I played Infection again today and I have to say- I have no idea at all how the scoring system works. Either it's completely random or the mode is bugged. So if somebody could post a comprehensive set of rules, I would appreciate that. I couldn't find any in the forum. It's obviously not last human standing, with at least 3 kills, wins. We tried that.

Plus a very important note:
the last human standing must kill a monster to win the round.
The reason is obvious.

So the infection match is about monsters against humans, right?

NO.
Infection is a much more interesting Free For All.
But this multiplayer mode is not for dumbs.

You join a camp as monster.
A new round starts when all the players are monsters.
They all turn into humans and the round starts.
When you kill a human, he turns into monster.
He needs 3 kills to turn into human again (if the round is not complete).
When you kill a monster, you get a frag and 10 points. The current round is not affected.
The last human standing wins the round and gets 25 points.
But he must kill an enemy (human or monster) to win the round.

Also, it's up the players to define a new rule and make the gameplay even more interesting:
the monsters team up to kill the humans.

Shortly, kill everyone and dont care if you're the last or not. Then you can win a round. This way I won 5 rounds. But just accidentally.

As I said before, this multiplayer mode is not for dumbs.
But they are welcome in any game.
