I don't think the name of the ranks are important, but let's have a discussion on this subject.
I'm waiting for other opinions.

I also agree that names of ranks does not important...
And because I have > 50.000 frags that doesn't means that I am better than Josh, Simon, Karla, Amanda who are colonels, I am not better...
We can be Pro Noobs, it doesn't important...

And about Enthusiast rank... Well, I am enthusiast when I am starting something, not on half-way, it's sounds like something for newbies
Also it's a big gap between current legend and icon (70.000 frags), and between legend and general 10.000 etc.
So what do you think that Enthusiast be the first rank after private rank and that all other ranks push forward for one place, so:

private 0 - 99;
enthusiast 100 - 499;
corporal 500 to 999;
sergeant 1000 - 2499;
liutenant 2500 - 4999;
captain 5000 - 9999;
major 10.000 - 19.999;
colonel 20.000 - 29.999;
general 30.000 - 49.999;
legend 50.000 - 99.999;
icon 100.000 -

Why like this? Because current players with 30.000 - 99.999 frags are legends, and legends with > 50.000 frags have 40% life mod and legends 30.000 - 49.999 have 30% life mod, the same rank and different mods... Better separated ranks...

80% of those frags in the last month, when I played with Latino armor guys, I did not want to give them a frag, 20 points and rpg, so I was doing that purposely

I think that there should be a minimum amount of frags set to reach for each weapon before you become a legend.
1000 frags at least for each gun.

As for the term 'icon' I think it is being misused in this situation. Maybe a term like 'addict' is better suited.

"addict" after "legend" does not make any sense.
