Hahaha!!! Well I don't know about the Sasquatch, but the
bears are attracted to
EVERYTHING in camp. We had a young male black bear, about 400 pounds (about 181 kg) circling out camp. Later in the evening, my younger brother stepped behind our tent to....well, you know, and there he stood less than 10 feet (3 meters) away!
We chased him with stones and yelling and cursing. But he never acted scared at all.
After fishing the next day, we returned to camp to find the cook tent all torn up and some of our food missing. Not much, we must have caught him in the act. But for the remainder of our stay, we had to lock the food in the trucks at night, and keep one man in camp to keep him away!
We had perfect weather temperatures and little rain, good fishing. The only other bad thing was we could not enjoy the campfire much later than 10:30 as the mosquitoes became unbearable!
Other than all of that, a
perfect vacation.
