Hopeless 2 Forum

When I log in I can't get into the room. All I see is part of the chicken on the lower left corner, part of the compass in the upper right corner and nothing else but a bright green circle, that looks like I'm looking through a scope, on a black page. I've been playing for about 4 months and this has never happened. Any ideas? I've run virus scans, cleaners. I did upgrade Adobe Flash this morning.

that happened to me yesterday just reboot and it will go away

that happened to me yesterday just reboot and it will go away

Hey Jen,
Thanks for the reply. I've rebooted 3 times, upgraded my browser, uninstalled & reinstalled Adobe Flash. I've run all the test for ActiveX, plus run all spyware and virus scans. I still can't get in. I can however get in on my laptop, so obviously there is something wrong with my desktop computer. Below is a screen print of what I see when I join a room.

yes i saw that but i just reboot and it takes off it must be a bug?

You need Adobe Shockwave.

Remus I have done all of the above and am still having the same problem. I have updated IE to the most recent edition, I even re-installed windows, ran 4 different virus scans, 3 different registry cleaners, and 5 different mal-ware programs. I'm running windows xp and have never had a problem before. Any other suggestions?

hehe, you are brave girl, you did all.
I got the same problem yesterday. It happened when i joined demuel camp who was alone in team deathmatch and sky was black when i joined his camp. And after that whatever camp i joined that was having green screen with scope on.. before that apc demuel camp.. i joined the smc camp successfully but later each map was same to me.
So i cleared history and load the game again and it worked as normal. So i thought it might be camp owner problem. Well Remus can guide you better.

Did you do any software changes/upgrades yesterday, August 18 2012? I wonder in that Jennifer and Supreme both saw the same green scope when they tried to get into the map. Any ideas?????

yes supreme is right it only happens when i entered deamuel camp

I had a computer tech to come check out my computer. He said all tech stuff was correct, and confirmed I do have Shockwave 11.6.6.636. He played 5 or 6 random Shockwave games online on my computer without any problems. He wanted to know if you had changed anything dealing with the software?

I don't mean to keep being a worrisome butt, but I certainly miss playing Hopeless2. Thank you again.

hi, did you clear history, although its the stupid question but did you always try to join same map? bcz i feel its bad ownership/connection that cause this thing.

I Just tested the game on:
Win XP (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome)
Win 7 (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome)
No problems at all.
So obviously the problem is on your computer.
Try the following:
1) use Internet Explorer.
be aware: the SW plugin is different compared to the other browsers!
See my previous posted message.
2) in the starting menu set MouseLook = Integrated.

Yippeee, I can play again. Obviously the integrated mouse did the trick. I certainly appreciate you taking your time to figure this out for me, you're a good man Charlie Brown. :o)
