Do you want to press a key to pick up his weapon?
Why?
That's annoying.
If you are close enough to that gun, it's automatically picked up.

I think it can be that sometimes you don't want to pick up the other persons guns.
If in a firefight with more than 1 person you might end up changing guns without meaning too.

That's a small penalty and this is the way it should be.
You cannot pick up a weapon and kill someone at the same time.
To press a key in order to pick up a weapon is a bad idea from many points of view.
Do you really want this "feature"?

How about a toggle on/off key so that in enables the player to choose?
Once you have the guns that you want you may not want to pick some of the others up.
Or why not just pick up the ammo/gun but not change it from the 1 you are using?
Just throwing in some ideas for discussion.

Who wants to lose seconds to look at the weapon and to press a key?
Simon, it doesn't make any sense.
If you don't need it, don't get close to it.
It's as simple as that.
